Phasma is honestly one of my favourite characters of the sequel trilogy now, her character reminds me of Roman Torchwick from RWBY, do whatever they can to survive, even if it means doing the worst things

Cinder took explosive force that, as it was explained to me, was equivalent to a NUCLEAR WEAPON, point blank. She survived that so torchwick could probably survive being swallowed whole. Maybe if the Grimm that ate him got killed in the Battle of Beacon, but otherwise it's entirely possible. Phasma ended up using the name Pilot to refer to her so that she didn't have to say the whole id number in front of the natives. She did slip up and call her that in her log too.

I finally purchased the graphic novel yesterday. Loved it. I really love Phasma's character. She is ruthless. We may not get much of her on screen, but the novel and comic more than make up for that. I even cheekily started writing a fan fiction afterwards about her surviving the destruction of the Supremacy, but she has to undergo surgical reconstruction because her armour has literally melted onto her flesh beneath it. There will be others who disagree, which is fine we are each entitled to an opinion, but I really hope Phasma does survive so she can come back for Episode IX. If not, I will settle for seeing more Phasma in the upcoming animated series Star Wars Resistance.

It was in the thousands, but definitely not 10,000 as the war was killing them too quickly to be replaced. And that's just Jedi Knights. That's not counting Padawans or Initiates.

I really enjoyed the design of Phasma's disquise armor. The helmet is pretty similar to the Mass Effect helmets, specifically the Death Mask.

Somehow i managed to get most of the new canon novels inbetween episodes VI and VII (only and cheaper in english and pocketsize). But the comics would be too much (neither i play the video games). Am I the only one here who thinks that since Phasma's just out for herself, that she's gonna do something that ultimately leads to the First Order's destruction (plus her own death) in an ironic attempt at self-preservation? If I were the screenwriter of Ep-8, towards the end of the movie I'd have Hux take advantage of what he knows about her, and order his troops to turn on her. Kill her off to protect the First Order from her shenanigans. Then Hux spills the beans to Snoke, who thanks him for his honesty, and also chastises him for not doing anything about it BEFORE she cost them Starkiller Base.

I personally never had an issue with how that scene played out. To me, Chewie wouldn't be able to face Leia after his "failure" of protecting Han. Remember, his Life Debt was to protect Han and it extended to Leia and their child. Chewie shot their child (in anger) and wasn't able to save her husband. Plus, he was preoccupied with Finn. Rey and Leia have the Force and understood each other on a spiritual level. They could feel each other's pain and were able to console one another. Even if they're strangers, that's a level of comfort no one else at the base could offer.

FJAR1635 Rey knew Han for like a few hours and we're only told she thought of Han as a father she never had by Kylo Ren, If Leia and Rey's untrained force abilities are so good they should be able to notice that the guy who spent the most time with Han is torn up inside and needs closure.

+Migrant Thought Did Lucas actually say that? I thought when "Revenge of the Sith" came out, the scene in "Jedi" was meant to be retconned as Leia referencing Breha Organa and not even knowing she was adopted until Luke tells her of their relation. In that case, it wouldn't be Lucas's fault but the fault of the current canon story group for having Breha survive up until Alderaan's destruction.

Neither of them are trained force user's so the only explanation is that they have a psychic link, if Leia could tell what rey is feeling without ever meeting her how did she not notice her son turning evil? As cool as Phasma looks in this comic, the fact remains there was no point having her in the film. Nothing she did led to a break out moment for the character and being thrown down the garbage shoot is more a reflection on the writers who obviously had nothing for her to do other than take up space and screen time... So seeing Phasma in this adventure is kinda bittersweet, seeing that this is what she could have been in TFA. Hopefully she'll be given something to do in TLJ... And finger's crossed the film won't reference alternative media where you can get the full story of a a hint at another narrative.
