I'm black and i didn't like it. The series was unnecessary, didn't add any value to the Star Wars universe, and had no point to it even existing. There was zero point to this show. It's almost like the Disney Star Wars boardroom went "what boxes can we tick this week" and devised a series centered around a new black female character. Who is this character??? There was no build up to her, we do not know her, and you want us to instantly connect with her! These people are literally just writing any story and setting it in the SW universe as if they believe that we will consume and love anything with the SW logo on it. Disney started its SW crusade 10 years ago, and i'm finally at the point where i'm saying that they have completely ruined SW. At this point they are literally putting 'Star Wars' on dog s**t and selling it to us.

People were begging Disney to cast Rosario Dawson to play Ahsoka. People wanted more from the character of Finn and thought he was underused. The “alt-right” were defending Gina Carano for being fired, how sexist of them. The new Alien movie is doing good in the box office despite having a female lead and a black co-star. People loved the first Wonder Woman movie. The sexist, racist, bigotry and alt-right argument is ridiculous. I was done with Star Wars but still this show intrigued me when I first heard of it. The more I heard of it the less excited I became but the idea to explore a dark side character was great. This show felt like a CW show with worse writing and acting. Anyway, if you wanna know what I'm talking about, look at any interview with her about/after the movie came out. Forgot who was with her during one, Rodie and Thor I think, in the interview you could tell actors were very uncomfortable being next to her and both of them didn't wanna be there. We have actors/actresses like the one who played Rey who was turned into a sjw icon and had no control over their character nor believed in the messages they were inserting, then we have ones like the CM actress. I feel bad for the backlash Rey's actress got from the role, heck that one Asian actress (I honestly forgot her name) got the same treatment if not worse from her roll, it's not like they wanted what happened. @richdean40174 ай бұрын
If the cast is diverse and shows representation, I can only see that as a good thing as actors do as they're directed. I thought there were some interesting concepts brought up on the show - unfortunately they failed to deliver on every single one of them! I expected a much darker themed show (especially entitled, The Acolyte) putting a different spin on the perception of the Jedi as after all, even Anakin said, "From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" - but it really didn't come across that dark at all, plus there were too many out-of-place, quirky moments inserted that didn't feel like they fit the story, which points to division at Lucasfilm over what certain creatives feel Star Wars should be. They only succeeded in making a "mystery" come across as irritating instead of intriguing and leaving too many unanswered questions at the end of the season definitely didn't help.

We grew up with strong values. We were anti tyrany, we idolized the jedi who were guardians of peace and justice. We lived through all the bullying for liking Star wars so I believe we are even more sensitive over what we say. I've loved Star Wars my whole life. The books (legacy of the Force and Fate of the jedi) were there for me during the hardest parts of my life. I'm a disabled combat veteran and those books saved my life. I was excited for force awakened, I liked daisy , I was hoping she would be like a jaina solo character. I was a Ittle sad after that movie but I went to the last jedi and I was so disgusted. This woman is a prime example of the problem with Lucasfilm and starwars. It is currently run by a bunch of people from california who live in a bubble with a view of themselves and the world that is totally outside of reality.
