Remember in the mortis ark he only got a little taste his power by being poked and prodded by the father and within that little taste, he subdued the living embodiments of the light and dark side of the force at the same time. Think of it like this, if a bodybuilder injects some big new steroid, it will make him stronger in a shorter period of time. But if he took the usual steroids he did before the new steroid, he’ll get to the strength level he was with the new drug, but it’ll just take longer to get there with the average steroid.

We were supposed to see Anakin Vs. Cin Drallig & his Padawans in episode 3, and the scene was filmed, but it was cut. A version of the battle is a main story boss level in the episode 3 game though, and it’s great. Edit: There is also an entire Jedi Temple attack level where you play as Anakin and fight the Jedi. It’s the level right before the Cin Drallig boss battle.

I get that what I'm about to suggest will be a little controversial, but if you really want Anakin Prime, we have to be talking about who taught Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds. Master Skywalker! And it's my firm belief that all four them would instantly realise that who they were up against was someone they couldn't defeat and really shouldn't try. The Anakin that fought Ahsoka was not forcing battle, but he was controlling it flawlessly. If he had chosen to fight at the potential he now possessed, Ahsoka would be dead in seconds. I watched how he manipulated her using her own strikes and blocks. It was a thing of beauty!

From what I remember of the book Shatterpoint, Vaapad is an answer to Mace's own darkness. Not as much reflecting the opponent's darkness. And that's why Mace always had to control Vaapad and be careful with it so he doesn't fall over the edge completely into his darkness. So in that case, I would think if Anakin managed to push Mace just a little bit too far he would have the fight because Mace would be either trying to pull himself back and take concentration away from the fight, or just not be powerful enough in the dark side anyway to beat a full potential Anakin whether he is dark side or not.

Yes and no. It channels his inner darkness, yes, but it ALSO channels the darkness of his opponent back at them. It's a reverse uno card for Sith... Though yes, Mace v. Anakin likely would cause Mace to fall to the dark side, but we don't care about that in the context of who wins a fight. Ultimately, no matter your argument, Anakin can't handle 4 on 1, and based on feats, he loses or lost to each individually, even if he could have theoretically been more powerful given time. Luke alone scales almost as well as he does.

George Lucas is indecisive on his facts. He can’t decide whether Luke and Vader are equal with no amps or Vader is stronger. So his information isn’t really valid and sadly wouldn’t be since the fact that his own movies say otherwise, Like Palps vs Windu, he says it was fair and that there was no holding back on any one’s part, but the movie directly contradicts him by showing a scene where Sidious points his blade in front of his chest and just decides not to kill him, and the literal fight maker of the scene said that he threw the fight so I would take visual evidence and the person who created the fight scenes + context over what he says

I always enjoy these vids, WBW Anakin stomps this. I don’t see it so much as Anakin picking which side of the Force he’d tap into but he’d flow through them, changing on the fly like a Battlemaster would change lightsaber forms not even mid-fight but even transitioning mid-sequence. Actually I wonder what that would do to Vaapad if Anakin swapped sides in a sequence like Light/Dark/Light/Dark if it would force Mace to be shifting gears and if that would mess with him 🤔

How is this even a debate? 4 of the most powerful Jedi ever vs 1 of the most powerful Jedi ever. The short answer- Luke, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Mace win with a bit of difficulty. The long answer- Luke is every bit as powerful as Anakin so that fight alone would be a draw or 50/50. Neither of them have any particular counters to eachother but both Skywalkers are equally matched with just as many advantages and disadvantages. Obi-Wan knows Anakin's weaknessess and has the most experience against him. He's fought him multiple times and won with him willingly losing in their final duel. Also, Kenobi's Soresu counters Skywalker's Ataru. Yoda is the oldest, fastest, has the most knowledge, and has the most overall experience. He's also the third most powerful one here with him being able to draw with Darth Sidious. Mace uses Vapaad which counters all of Anakin's Darkside abilities. Anakin dabbled in the darkside and was nearly completely consumed by it. He uses the darkside a lot an Windu completely counters all of it. He beat Sidious with this method despite not being as powerful as Yoda and Sidious who's fight was a stalemate. This is a mismatch. You would have to be the biggest Anakin fanboy ever to think this is actually fair for him. ESPECIALLY when Lucas confirmed that Luke and Anakin have the same potential and that Luke became what Anakin could not. Grandmaster Luke alone would win because they would have equal raw force power but Grandmaster Luke has more knowledge in the force and is the greatest lightsaber duelist of all time by this point. Anakin VS Yoda. At his age, Yoda wouldn't be able to go for a long duel like Anakin and Obi-Wan did. Anakin would know or realize this and take his time and let Yoda gas himself out. Anakin VS Windu. Dooku was apparently the greatest duelist the Jedi order has ever seen and Anakin/Dooku 2 ended rather abruptly. We can speculate that Palpatine was interfering during that duel for the sake of getting Anakin in his service. I see Anakin and Windu fighting for a long long time, but I see Anakin's youth and strength in the Force winning it. Anakin VS Luke. Luke didn't get the same training as his father, nor does he have the same rage driving him. Luke defeated Vader, but Vader was like 60% of Anakin's strengths and powers. Anakin would break Luke down similarly to the way Vader did in ESB. Anakin VS Obi-Wan. Get a comfy chair and a bucket of popcorn, we'll be here for a while. Anakin would eventually find that tiny crack in Obi-Wan's amazing defenses and plow through.

I would say about wbw Anakin he would have some new force abilities that they hadn't seen, such as force masking ( hiding your force presence completely) also force illusion ( makes another version of himself / clone) to fight this battle also he could in a sense throw of certain abilities and distort the dark side around him or others making them get confused and have to rely in his abilities, or he would or he gave force dampening - slowing down since one else force abilities so much that there force abilities will become useless and have to rely on themselves. That's what I'm thinking he may also have access to other abilities both light and dark side that neither of them have ever encountered nor seen

the flaw with this speculation about mace having some sort of a chance is the assumption that world between worlds anakin would only use the dark side , but anakin is clearly perfectly balanced and in control and can combine or switch between light and the dark at will in ahsoka episode 5 , mace windu would be doomed , anakin would just ragdoll and destroy everyone . not to mention hax like reality warping or jumping in timelines at will . not even abeloth stands a chance against the full potential anakin .

I'd love to get your thoughts on this. Since Ahsoka has effectively, presumably been taken out of the Thawn fight - this puts Luke in the role he was in, in the books to fight Thrawn. This brings me to my question, Abeloth, if Dave is really cooking Abeloth up. Perhaps Abeloth is the real big bad after Thrawn years into the future, say, of the time of the new Jedi order. Would it be CRAZY to bring Anakin back (not necessarily to the living realm) but bringing him to actually fight nonetheless. Since we're starting to delve into the magicks of Star Wars and the mysticism could we see Ahsoka, Ezra, Cal etc what have you fighting alongside Luke and even Anakin to combat such an evil entity. You could even include the Force dyad (because this would presumably keep everyone happy)

Here's what we have to question. Was GM luke most powerful at the time we are measuring from? GM Yoda at clone wars era wasn't prime Yoda. Listen, I write graphic novels myself, and believe me, there Are characters that I wish I could say are more powerful than others (even the protagonist) but I can't and I've been trying to find plots that can make it happen, some for 30 decades now but the characters are ultimately just what they are 🤷. Also many forget that Luke was not whole either. They cite Anakin's disadvantages with cybernetics etc, but there have been examples where Luke's cybernetics have held him at a disadvantage as well, albeit, not to the same level of course Apropos, I'll leave this here "George Lucas was pressed on this in an interview and his official answer was that Luke was the full realization of Anakin Skywalker’s potential. He managed to inherit all the force abilities from his father’s side and since he missed out on a physically and psychologically debilitating injury he managed to become as strong as Anakin would have been had he not been hurt himself. The only people who can compete with sidious is mace or yoda in ROTS. Anakin never reached his full potential so he hasnt surpassed them. Matthew basically has them even while nick says anakin would win but luckily he doesn't write the story so hes basically biased for anakin but the story told by George lucas says only mace and yoda are 1 and 2. Anakin couldnt break obiwan defense while palps would do it in a second the same palps who lost to windu and was out classed by yoda "lightsaber combat" . Anakin is my favorite character but from what i seen in the movies and shows he cant even block force lighting. To say he can 1 v 4 the greatest jedi ever produced is insane.

There is no way WBW Anakin would lose to anyone, including Mace. He is literally the standard. If he doesn’t know about Mace’s skill and ability (which I’m assuming he does from his time in the order), he would still be able to notice it and adjust immediately. I would love to see Anakin act as a teacher to higher level Jedi masters when they become skilled enough to reach the WBW. This is easy. Lucas states Luke and Leia have the same potential as Anakin. So Luke being even with Anakin vs the skill and knowledge of Yoda, vs Obi-Wan's insurmountable defense, and Mace's skill plus being boosted by Anakin's dark side powers would just dominate. Remember that in the novel of RotS Anakin couldn't even keep up with Palpatine and Mace's fight. It was just flashes of red and purple.

Just awesome video! I really think that's a conversation that only very knowledgeable/hardcore fans can have at this level, but man, I can't picture in my head Mace Windu beating Anakin, no matter what context people present me 😂. Just his presence alone feels so powerful that it drives me to believe that he would even beat 900 years of experience Yoda 😂. His conviction and confidence might not be enough, but I've never seen any Jedi with that much intensive belief in the capability of his own powers. At the same time that he went too far at many points of his life, he's extremely inspiring to me. So is Luke Skywalker(and others). They're different but strangely very similar. You can actually take very deep real life lessons from practically every Jedi in Star Wars. Anakin, Luke, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Yoda, etc. while all of them having their own flaws. That's why I consider this idea of seeking ethnic diversity in movies or shows as something silly, because our connections to these characters are in a deeply human level, it's a deep connection to values and how they're being represented. I myself am a son of a black mother and a white father and I never once thought when I saw Anakin for the first time in the Phantom Menace that I somehow would dislike or like him more because he was a blond kid😂. The reason why I connected to Anakin was because he was incredibly smart and daring and that was when I wasn't even a fan of Star Wars, I couldn't even conceive what the heck a fan even was. But I was obsessed with the movie also because I was obsessed with that race(I still love it even today). And also there was something very powerful towards me as a kid watching Qui-gon Jinn that I couldn't explain when I was a kid, but I'm sort of able to KIND of explain today, which I guess is this "very wise father figure" atmosphere he gives, like he knows A LOT more than he's actually telling you, but he's chewing that massive knowledge in small portions so that you can understand a bit of the reason why you yourself even exist; it's a vibe like "walk with me, I'll protect you from everything". He also has this very spiritualized and balanced vibe that is very inspiring no matter what age you are at. He's never too mad, never too serious, but also never a loser in a sense of confusing being good with letting people step on you because you can't say no😂. Awesome character! I consider the Phantom Menace a very beautiful movie, and I'm aware that many fans hate Jar Jar, but trust me, as a kid I LOVED Jar Jar, so George Lucas was 100% correct in his theory behind the creation of the character. And to be even more honest, I still like Jar Jar a lot, I just think today that, since too many fans hated him, I think he needs to be showed in a very careful way in respect to those fans, because one thing is a very small kid, another thing is an adult. So I think when you do stuff for kids, if you make sure when they're adults they'll still love it or love it even more, you'll be doing a very clever thing for any franchise. There are franchises I still love today, specially because they did exactly that. Episode 1 is a very special movie till this day to me, even though they all are(except the Disney trilogy, which I didn't watch😬), specially because it's part of my childhood, but all the other episodes are equally or even more special just in a different way.
