I got see Starz live many times back in the 70's. I was blown away by their live shows. They even opened up for Rush during the Hemisphere tour in 1978. What a show. Rock was alive and doing very well back then.

December 1978, I was 14 years old and I remember taking several buses from the Westside of San Antonio to the Sound Warehouse on South Military Drive to buy this album, they had it in the front of the store with most of the recently released LP's, I remember also buying AC/DC's first Live album, If You Want Blood You Got during that shopping trip and then I had to get my ass back on the bus back home because I was going to see Triumph that night at the Municipal Auditorium that night!! I was using the money from my paper route to pay for my thrills.

bet you wish you could do it again my second concert was Lynyard Skynyrd & The Outlaws in CC TX. Sure I saw AC-DC with Bon Scot 3 times Triumph, Judas Priest, UFO, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, SRV, Dio. Corrosion of Conformity, RUSH, Nazareth, Journey, Sammy Hager, Scorpions, Hart, Joe Walsh, Los Lobos, Montrose, Y&T I know I am leaving a few out.... My mother worked at a radio station, concerts were free.

This classic song u could always hear it on our rock station kmac/kiss fm in San Antonio Texas growing up on the westside we we're heavy metal foot soldiers following all the best rock concerts coming to town thanks to Joe the godfather Anthony of 99.5kiss fm and stone city attractions I miss those days me and my friends would go down town get off the city buss and smoke a few joints we had our hair as long as we could grow it it was a badass time being a young teenager walking by the San Antonio river walk checking out all the girls we could meet and getting some phone numbers I remember five of us walking right by five air Force dudes downtown I had my boom box radio blasting heavy metal those air Force guys looks surprised and stunned we just kept on walking smoking our weed and checking out all the woman downtown we had a good time growing up in San Antonio wish u all were here at that time we enjoyed it heavy metal rules I'm fifty years old now I still rock out and enjoy the woman in town

I was fortunate to have a recorder going one night when this song came on a local FM station back when the album had just come out. I remember thing, "WOW!!!" The intro may go on for 6 hours. Well it didn't but I was blown away by the intensity and moods. It has without a doubt some of the best guitar playing ever. I learned the song title from the recording and later bought it. It's a Riot is the perfect following song. It completes it. Both songs were played together as they should be. If you buy them on Amazon or other vendors, they are separated and it loses the fun!

This song reminds me of the old days when all seemed well in rock radio land. San Antonio then had local legendary DJ Joe Anthony on KMAC-AM/KISS-FM. He broke many artists: Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Rush, Budgie, Moxy, Riot, Axe, Def Leppard, Triumph, Helix, Accept, Saxon, Iron Maiden, Metallica. When the KMAC/KISS owner Howard G. Davis died in August '80 KISS went corporate and has remained so ever since. Sister station KMAC went off the air shortly thereafter.

I think Starz will be forever associated with this song. Many people may recall this song but nothing else Starz did. They were never a household name. It may be that they didn't get as much airplay as the Scorpions, Judas Priest, Rush, et al. It seems that even fellow lesser-known artists such as Budgie, Legs Diamond and Riot got more recognition than Starz.

one of my favorite albums.....just a badass band...amazing songs so young so bad is best song on album.
