December 1978, I was 14 years old and I remember taking several buses from the Westside of San Antonio to the Sound Warehouse on South Military Drive to buy this album, they had it in the front of the store with most of the recently released LP's, I remember also buying AC/DC's first Live album, If You Want Blood You Got during that shopping trip and then I had to get my ass back on the bus back home because I was going to see Triumph that night at the Municipal Auditorium that night!! I was using the money from my paper route to pay for my thrills.

Well it didn't but I was blown away by the intensity and moods. It has without a doubt some of the best guitar playing ever. I learned the song title from the recording and later bought it. It's a Riot is the perfect following song. It completes it. Both songs were played together as they should be. If you buy them on Amazon or other vendors, they are separated and it loses the fun!

This song reminds me of the old days when all seemed well in rock radio land. San Antonio then had local legendary DJ Joe Anthony on KMAC-AM/KISS-FM. He broke many artists: Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Rush, Budgie, Moxy, Riot, Axe, Def Leppard, Triumph, Helix, Accept, Saxon, Iron Maiden, Metallica. When the KMAC/KISS owner Howard G. Davis died in August '80 KISS went corporate and has remained so ever since. Sister station KMAC went off the air shortly thereafter.

The Godfather kicked ass. Was in 8th grade when he passed away. I'll never forget that because for some reason mr solis, the VP, announced it on the intercom.

50% of the comments here reference San Antonio or JOE ANTHONY (same thing). Amazing. RIP Joe Anthony, Rock on in Heaven and we will be there soon to enjoy the music with you in glory.

I went to see them open for foghat, the lead singer was wasted and wandered out on stage before the show and fell off. they took him away in an ambulance. Never had the chance to see them again.

Even though I'm younger, I love the 1970s era of hard rock. Starz is at the top of my 70s playlist.

I think Starz will be forever associated with this song. Many people may recall this song but nothing else Starz did. They were never a household name. It may be that they didn't get as much airplay as the Scorpions, Judas Priest, Rush, et al. It seems that even fellow lesser-known artists such as Budgie, Legs Diamond and Riot got more recognition than Starz.
