*Kenya* to lead a "multinational" troop in Haiti -- One reporter asked why the U.S. troops are not leading this multinational force in Haiti. It's because 1) Kenyans are primarily black like the Haitians, which would make them seem less "foreign" compared to a more multi-ethnic U.S. troop, and 2) in the event the Haitian "peace" mission went astray, the U.S. wouldn't be _bogged down_ in a conflict that could get messy. The U.S. is more preoccupied with China, and to some extent, Russia.
