I kept wondering how she had figured out that the flip chart technique she used was going to work so well. Maybe she figured that Travis would repeat his rehearsed statements, so she knew what he'd say. Though it is astonishing that the defense allowed Travis to get on the stand at all. He remembered the script all right. But the script was terrible - his lawyer was expensive, he should either have written Travis a better script or not let him speak at all. All he did was ensure that both Travis and his father went to jail for life.

Laura I found them all to be extremely racist selective memory syndrome hyping up the extent of the crime in there neighbourhood. One of the defence witnesses even tried unsuccessfully to illicit tears when speaking about her children not being able to play outside because someone had her car broken into. Pathetic. When all is said and done the only recorded crime of violence reported in their neighbourhood is the murder of Ahmaud Abery By 3 White men. The same men that this witness went on a boat ride with after they took the life of a young black man. The truth is they are not subjected to an extraordinarily high amount of crime they just have a zero tolerance for non whites in there white only community. They are vile individuals who’s only moral compass homes into play when applied to one of their own but mysteriously goes missing when need for people of colour. These defendants had no case at all and were colossally stupid to go to trial with the stack of damning evidence against them. It’s my considered opinion that they believed no jury would ever convict them, bc they thought their “peers” were just as despicably racist as they are. I can’t think of another reason why they would be so stupid as to risk going to trial. I’m absolutely certain there are racist judges and juries in the US, but it gives me hope when juries like this one refuse out of hand to become complicit with racist, murderous, vigilantes. I'm just glad that the judge didn't get tired even though he got irritated. He did not Grant any of the foolishness. Also they had horrible defense lawyers. I don't understand why Roddie didn't take the deal and testify against them. But Madame prosecutor please go for district attorney cuz you are awesome. She was never fazed throughout the whole trial and her objections were actually valid. And it was really cool to watch when she did like mess up and she misunderstood something. She would acknowledge it. It's pretty cool to see that the justice system does work sometime. And for the the other prosecutor that was previously didn't charge them. I know her case is about to start soon. It's funny they wanted to brag about what they did. Roddie was the only one that felt remorse. now you spend the rest of your life in prison. Thank you guys for being the dumbest criminals.

@greenman61412 жыл бұрын
I agree. I'm not sure that Roddy felt remorse for what HE did. I'm pretty sure that he didn't want to be seen as involved in Mr Arbery's murder. He was very nervous about that and hoped to draw a distinction between himself and the McMurderers. But...you don't HIT someone with a truck and get to claim that you haven't commit a felony. Nor can you stop someone from going where they want to go, on a street, and get to claim that you haven't commit false imprisonment. He commit 2 felonies before the murder had even happened. And he gave no sign of being sorry about those...he spoke about them openly. He EVEN said "I wished I would have hit him". Actually regretted that he hadn't commit felonious assault AGAIN. Said it to police. So, he wasn't sorry about his actions. Had Mr Arbery been murdered without Roddy Bryant's participation would he have felt bad about that/ Going by what came out in the Federal Hate Crime trial. No. He was another vile racist. He is just like the bank robber who isn't carrying a gun, but joins in. Actually...no..he's much worse. A bank robber wants money. That's normal. Roddy Bryant wanted to commit felonies and terrorize a young black man. That's disgusting.

Roddy Bryant's attorney leaked the video thinking it would show how not racist lynching it was.... but we all know this prosecution may never have happened or succeeded without there being video, AND it being in the media, was swept under the rug, roddys attorney leaks the video to help, only to show us all how it actually was a racist killing of a jogger.

The Narratives The narrative and headlines of virtually every media report since the release of the video have included the inference that Ahmaud was simply a “Black Jogger” murdered by white vigilante racists in a predominantly white neighborhood. Let’s call this NARRATIVE #1. I ask that you bear with me while I share two other narratives, one real and the other merely supposition but worth considering. We’ll call these NARRATIVE #2 and NARRATIVE #3. NARRATIVE #2: “Twice convicted felon with history of mental illness killed following struggle over a shotgun.” NARRATIVE #3: “Man with mental illness kills two men (maybe three) with a shotgun.” Every word of NARRATIVE #2 is 100 percent true. I submit that NARRATIVE #3 is equally plausible based on what is known about Ahmaud’s mental health diagnosis of Schizoaffective Disorder, the same mental health diagnosis the mainstream media has either minimized or ignored completely in reporting this story. To learn more about Schizoaffective Disorder click here. Would my husband, son and Roddy be rotting in jail if the media had chosen to report this tragedy as NARRATIVE #2? Would I be pleading for support if the media had reported it as NARRATIVE #2? Or would Ahmaud have used his mental health diagnosis to defend his actions in support of an insanity defense if NARRATIVE #3 had become a reality?
