Exactly, this Case has no legal grounds to justify their actions. With a citizens arrest, the person being"arrested" has the right to leave. So right there citizens arrest defense is gone. And as soon as they blocked him and pointed guns at him, Auhmad absolutely had every right to fight for his life. If he would have lived, HE would have a justifiable self defense case. But not these 3.

Ahmaud Arbery the trial established early on, was an innocent unarmed man that day, jogging in a neighborhood just over a mile away from his own, across the highway. In an unwarranted, illegal attempt to ''detain'' him, he was chased by 2 vehicles for 5 minutes, aggressively, two of these people, Travis McMichael & Gregory McMichael were armed in 1 vehicle, while William ''Roddie'' Bryan, drove the other, which actually drove into Ahmaud Arbery on at least one occasion. He was entrapped and shot. The 3 defendants in the vehicles are all very guilty of murder in my opinion. Georgia legislation has changed and strengthened the laws surrounding citizens' arrest procedure & The Glynn County (Georgia) District Attorney's Office, & The Glynn County Police Department procedure, among others, are also under investigation. The U.S. Department of Justice will continue its investigation, it is our duty to follow this closely. R.I.P. AHMAUD ARBERY.

So true! I've always had that fear of an unfair trial due to picking from a jury pool of like minded racist individuals such as the defendants. They know that, that's why they never asked for a change of venue
@geraldineallen80602 жыл бұрын
Could you explain why you feel they had an unfair trial? They had it in the county they live in . They had a juror of their Peers. Travis was allowed to testify in his own Defense. His Lawyer talked about him being in Law Enforcement in Coast Guard. .Travis was able to explain where he was on February 23 . He said he was in his house on the couch. So that meant he did not see Ahmaud on someone else's Property. Please explain why the trial was unfair
