If you end up wanting to hunt something down although it seems like you already have solid favorites but my fave is a blush from mac called sweet enough. Its a mineralized skin finish but its matte (i also dislike shimmer on my cheeks) it looks orange on the website but its not orange irl and its cooler than mac mocha. I really like that you don't turn up your nose at drugstore brands. Thats how I know someone has true knowledgeable about formulas and everything that goes along with it. I have the Flower Beauty blush in Sweet Peas as well and I forget to use it but it is a beautiful shade. I will say, I think the brand is close to being phased out. In Arizona, the only store(Frys supermarket) you could find their products just put everything on clearance. I actually bought a few brushes half price. They had some of the best brushes and no one ever talked about them. Their blush brush is my absolute favorite. So much so that I bought 4 just in case they went out of business.

Honestly this thorough review and comparison series of yours (hope there is more to come if you haven't already for like cream blush, bronzer, mascara, eyeshadow (I'd be fascinated to see like for quads, say Chanel, Lancome, etc vs Sephora/Drug store options), foundation, etc) is so exceptionally helpful and brilliant, its been so many years of "trial and error" or rather false claims and disappointing results and a lot of wasted time and money so this is excellent to show such variety and also that these luxury houses really are taking advantage and need to reformulate and provide quality experiences for that high price point or they will be left behind. OH MY GOD. Every time you talked about these cool-toned pink-nude blushes turning peachy on you … I felt that in my soul. Except it’s me and lipsticks. EVERY last “cool” “pink-nude” and “pink-beige” and “nude-mauve” etc lipstick just turn terracotta/tawny on me. 😭😭😭

Thank you for taking the time and spending so much money on creating this valuable content. This is the best video that I've seen for blushes that are suitable for someone with pale skin. I've bought many blushes that appear to have a neutral to cool undertone on my computer screen, but they have too much orange or brown in them when I apply them to my skin. I recommend Clinique's Pansy Pop Blush for someone that wants a blush with a cool undertone - it has a hint of lavender that looks great with my complexion.

I liked Flower Beauty's "Sweet Pea" and MAC's Blushbaby on you the best--then (in no special order) Em Cosmetics Venetian Rose, Milani's Romantic Rose, Lawless in "Vintage Love," and the Clinique Cheek Pop in Heather Pop. It might seem like more work, but you'll definitely find that chief's kiss shade using the products you already have. Love love love the Deep Dive series! My favourite on you was the Peripera Calm Pink, even though you mentioned you liked others better. I thought it was ultra flattering on you! Would love to see a cream/liquid nude blush DD! My favourite nude blushes in my collection are Clinique Nude Pop, Buxom Wanderlust Blush in the shade Seychelles, Almay Healthy Hue Blush in Nearly Nude (seriously rivaling every luxury or high end blush formula I've ever tried), and RMS Redinension Hydra Blush in Crystal Slipper.

@@StateofKait I think you'd like the colour, but it's got some glow. I think the glow is flattering and not texture enhancing because it's a baked gelee formula, not just a thick shimmery powder that looks like eyeshadow on the cheeks. It's got pigment but the formula is thin, similar texture to Clinique cheek pop. The colour is dimensional and a balanced mix of mauve, neutral peach, and neutral bronze... Which sounds like a weird impossible combo, but it's very flattering. Photos don't do it justice. If you ever see it around, I think it's worth the pickup!

Relatively new subscriber here! In my 30’s and I got into KZbin and makeup during the COVID lockdown. I’ve seen many a makeup video since then, but I got to say I love your channel and especially these long videos. Great video Kait, super helpful!! And you are totally right about the Clinique Cheek Pop blushes, they are super underrated. I got the shade Black Honey to wear during Fall/ Winter and I've been loving it! Such a great formula and finish. I'll for sure pick up another shade for Spring/ Summer 🌼

Loved this video! Thanks for taking the time to create quality content. I’m definitely going to look into purchasing the Flower Beauty and Milani blushes. I feel the same about the Mac Mocha. I have a hard time getting any color out, but Melba is no problem. But lately I’ve been preferring BareMinerals Gen Nude Call My Blush. So pretty and has more longevity on my skin. I look forward to the vanilla deep dive!!

Loved this video!! I actually own the rms blush in French rose and I loveee how it looks on the cheek! Definitely a sheen, but not at all texture enhancing. I think it looks absolutely beautiful on the cheeks!

That color on my light skin acts not only as a blush but a bit like a bronzer, too. I love duo-acting products. It literally blends right in and really does look airbrushed. Thank you so much!

I love the MAC glow play in blush please and so natural. They are my go to blushes. I have light-med skin tone that i see as neutral olive and both of those shades work so well for me specially in the winter.

Great video Kate! I am your shade twin so this is extremely helpful for me. Almost no one else on KZbin seems to have this skintone… everything I bought colorwise upon your recommendation worked out for me. Sadly I have dry skin, so not everything is working.

It's funny, when I used to browse the beauty guru subreddit people used to make fun of me for always saying I can't find a good concealer shade match, but they have NO idea how hard it is for our skin tone. Looks like it would be easy but it isn't!

Thank you. I've been considering some of these blushes for a while, but at this point, I really need to be selective as I have too much blush so videos like this are so helpful when trying to limit purchases. I've almost bought Flower Sweet Pea 10x. I think you've convinced me. Also Essence befitting and Revlon Mauvelous. I was shocked how peach some of these look on you! I have neutral undertone and went on a mission for mauve blushes last year, which to me needs to have some purple in it and not be too pink. Essence Believing, Pat Mcgrath Divine Rose, and the Hourglass Mood exposure work as mauve for me right now. I only have 1 Clinique pop in black honey, but they are so great I want another but not sure which one yet.

I am also DYING to know where you got the earrings you are wearing in the application of the clinique blush around 29:00???? The gold ones with the little pearls and sort of cross design?
