The statue commemorates Bruce Lee, Chinese American martial arts instructor and action film actor.
The statue was unveiled by Kogarah Council (Sydney) Australia to mark the one year anniversary of its friendship City Agreement with the city of Shunde China (sister cities)
Shunde is the ancestral home of the Californian-born Bruce Lee who died in 1973
