I've just been listening to Quo's music here down through the years and surprised how all the words just come back after nearly fifty years! Thanks Rick and the gang for creating so many happy memories and making life worth living!

Thank you. My best friend from school and I were massive fans. We played all of the songs in several bands. My friend passed away about the same time as Rick . You made me have all of his memories flood back. Beautifully written. ❤🙏🙏

@@CB-xr1eg Maybe 'Status Quotes' Quo tribute band? 😀 Probably the nearest thing you will get to the 'real' quo sound. Check out their videos, especially 'Mad about the boy', which I don't think Quo ever did live.

i think this concert/tour was rick at his guitar and vocal best - he made being a hard-hitting rhythm guitarist LOOK easy, something which his critics in the music press seemed to miss, instead taking it to mean that it was easy. anyone who has tried to play his stuff knows how tough it is. p.s. someone needs to release the full NEC concert on DVD, i had the 'Channel 5' video and literally wore it out

Rick is ALL downstrokes... He used Open G Tuning on Songs like Little Lady, Rain and Mystery Song, Drop D on Don't Drive My Car and Whatever You Want, and tuned his A String to a B# for 4500 Times and Backwater. You gotta figure that stuff out first!
@keef71 Жыл бұрын
@@marty6779 Backwater/4500 has 5th string A tuned up to B and a 0.065 6th string tuned to low B

Loved quo in the 70s and 80s. Wanted to be Rossi. I know they got ripped off money wise. But seems like its all about money now with him. Went off quo when the split up was complete..long live their 70s and 80s music

It is easy to forget that Quo were once a serious rock act, not a pantomime act. The keyboard mix is a little low, but this is very, very good.

Quite simply they should quit now, it’s not the same without Rick. Can’t stand Edwards looks a right goon standing there with his mouth open like a simpleton. Frantic Four by far the best quo line-up. Love this song original and the best.

Rick without his Tele there. Looks like an Ovation this time.
