My old coach told us once three things are required for a championship season. Talent, brains and luck. Talent- You gotta have good players. Without this you will not outwork anyone, team unity means nothing and schemes will mean nothing, Brains- you have to be smart, know your assignments, don't commit stupid penalties or do things that turn the ball over like trying for that extra yard, knowing when a defensive player is coming up behind you, not taking a chance on a small 20 yd window pass when you have a checkdown that will get 5 yds. Luck- you need some calls to go your way and stay injury free. If Milroe is hurt, he is hurt and that is bad luck. 2010 and 2019 teams were decimated with injuries that cost Bama the title those years.

I'm not concerned with Milroe's ability . I'm concerned about how fast Alabama can play . Texas A & M has a very impressive defensive front line and are deep . We need to stop their ability to rotate in fresh players and wear them out in the fourth quarter with our running game . I believe our punter and kicker will win the game for us with field position . I see a very low scoring game . I'll take the under Just my opinion .

Kind of what I've been saying. The offense around him has to play well, especially the OL and the center really needs to step up and do his job. Milroe can't be expected to compensate for their lack of execution. Sometimes it isn't their fault but way too many times it has been.

This does not surprise me, through 5 regular season games in his first starting role, he might have some issues, they should have let him rest Monday and Tuesday, and checked on him Wednesday and had him throwing balls by Thursday if he got medically cleared. I have watched every Alabama game this season and I must have seen completely different games than described here in the comments. From a realist: 1- Center cannot snap the ball consistently 2- O - Line misses too many Blocks 3- Milroe runs backwards when the Blitz comes instead of forward to the center of the line and losses 18 yards on the play. 4- Bama has 4 downs on the ONE YARD LINE and cannot score a touchdown. That is a disgrace. 5- Milroe takes too long to make a decision whether to pass or run the ball. One very Positive comment: The Bama DEFENSE has played OUTSTANDING and that is why Bama is winning any games right now.

A lot of the sacks are the backs not picking up the blitz. The O line can only hold on their blocks for so long. It is true Milroe holds the ball too long. This is the reason for some of the sacks as well. This team is very young. Lets not forget that.
