I’m guessing you found $13.54 in change. Btw if you want to go full OCD on the drying stage use a leaf blower instead of a towel. Also compressed air for getting water out from behind the emblems and other tight spots. Love your videos
@StaufferGarage4 жыл бұрын
Yes! I typically would use a leaf blower but after claying the car and no coating, the water stick too much. Seams and emblems is a great idea though!

I'm going with $36.83. When I clay, I generally turn my rinse bucket into a Dawn dish soap/water bucket to lubricate the clay and really get the surface clean, then I wash the car one more time with the clean car wash bucket after I get done (usually goes really quickly since the car is mostly "clean" already). With all these one-step polish/sealants coming out in the last couple of years, it seems like it would have been a quick effective step to get a little correction and depth while sealing since you're going to do the step anyways.
@GTiGLiTN4 жыл бұрын
I've also seen you experiment with different cleaners inside--I've had good luck with Woolite (the delicate fabric detergent) for cleaning car interiors.

How are the fox clean brushes as far as keeping the bristles intact? I bought a cheap set of brushes from the local auto parts store (cant recall which one) and the problem im facing is that while the brushes do work fairly well, they seem to be degrading and falling apart after only a handful of uses. Thank you in advance :)

How much did you charge for that Ford Explorer detailing? I have that same Ford Explorer model and year. I paid someone $600 for a full detail including paint correction and they did half of what you did there.... Especially in the interior. After he left I found dirty areas in the interior that were not cleaned. I was not pleased with the work done for $600. That car was way dirty than mine. Just trying to get a range for what a reasonable price would be. I can use that car's condition and pricing as a gauge of what to expect.
