It is Ester who should be exhausted. She looks after everyone while Mike is working in the bedroom. Seriously Mike you do a great job. You are fabulous with the kids. I love how you all work together as a family. Sorry I had to laugh at how frazzled you looked at the end of this video and especially love how you keep mentioning how many hours are left before mom comes home. Hang in there.

I am the eldest daughter of 11 children and I just want to reach out through the screen to Esther and tell her that her patience and understanding now will serve her so well as an adult. I love that she is respectfully vocal yet firm on her opinions. She IS now and IS going to be an incredible woman. Her siblings will look up to her and seek her guidance for the rest of their lives. Love to her!!

I know a family where there is 7 children and the oldest girl never get much time to read [she love books] or do teenager stuff like she is supposed to. The mother of the children is always busy with numerous tasks as can be expected from having a big family and she homeschool the kids herself. The mother is an cheerful wonderful lady and a good mother. The dad helps a lot also but he has a full time job. I only feel so sorry for Martha, the oldest girl because it wasn't her choice to work so hard acting like a second mother to the younger siblings by having to share household responsibilities with her mother from morning till evening while attending to the babies [4 of them are only a year apart] and keep up with her school work. The situation of Martha breaks my heart. I am glad to hear from your point of view that being the oldest in a big family was a good experience for you.

Couldn't find the recipe in description. Your doing great Dad. It is hard taking care of the kids even with the older kids helping. Been there and feel your stress. Sending you healing and stress relieving prayers.😉. We were raised with the eat it and don't complain rule because usually that was the only option. Occasionally Mom cooked something for her and Dad that was a favorite dish for them that she knew the kids would not eat and when that happened she made us something different, but we were given a chance to try it. The majority of our food was made from scratch and we grew vegetables in our backyard garden. As we got older we helped make the meals and we had a similar chore chart like the one you made. My parents were old school and I am glad because it made us better people with solid values, morals, manners and behavior. Which is why I love watching your family as it brings back so many memories. Thank you and bless you and your family. 🤗👍🏻
