All these "go live in a fictional universe" questions remind me of the time I watching one of the Hobbit movies and realized the world of Lord of the Rings is actually a really shitty place to live. On Earth, if you wander out into the country, maybe you might get attacked by like wolves or something. In Middle Earth, you leave town and being killed by a roving band of orcs becomes not just possible, but incredibly likely. You're not even safe in the cities either, they get attacked all the damn time!

I've had two migraines so far - started with blurred vision then an increasing pain to the point where I have to lay down, all while having extreme nausea. One time I even vomited due to it. NL definitely made the correct choice to not have those daily

I had them regularly as a teen, like once every month and a half or so from age 14 to 17, they tapered off and stopped once I finished growing. Something fluttering at the edge of my vision moving in towards center, then intense head pain and pressure for about 4 hours along with extreme sound and light sensitivity, always culminating in vomiting, then dying down to a regular headache with general weakness for the rest of the day. I can't imagine being like that every single day, I think I'd legit want to die.

If you respawn 3 days after every death, even if the decay that would happen to a dead human body in that time period is not an issue.. Surely your body will still age while you are alive, eventually getting so old and worn out that you die again pretty much instantly upon respawning. Basically I think hitting the button on that one is asking to be spawn camped by old age for eternity.

Depends on the principle of respawning, I guess. Like obviously if someone cuts you in half, if you respawn you're not gonna be in two pieces. Now, then, aging is slowly dying too, if the cause of death is a specific kind of cell decay, will the cause of death remain as is in that scenario too? The way I see it, to a degree they're the same, and I believe the former of being cut in half is a given to be restored, so I don't see why the latter will be your demise for certain. Take the logical extreme a bit further, maybe you could intentionally slice yourself up to be restored to a better state. Maybe not. Depends whether it's mending or reverting or something else. Certainly an interesting angle to consider, either way.

@@NearoC Expecting to respawn in non fatal condition makes a lot of sense I think, but reverting being cut in half to the point where it's non-fatal means you're not cut in half anymore, completely removing the problem. It's different with cell decay, you can have a lot of it before it's actually fatal, and reverting it to a state of just-before-it-turns-fatal only does so much. Also, in order for you to die again from being cut in half when you respawn would require someone to be there ready to do it every time. Which is a scary thought, but probably unlikely. Old age on the other hand is always waiting.

@@Chromodar Yeah I mean that is fair, and I think interpretations like that are fair too, yeah maybe you'd respawn with a few days left from old age. It depends I guess, I imagine things more specific like heart failure would be remedied properly, cancer maaaybe? more vague your cause of death is the less it'd probably be reverted, I suppose. Lol yeah having some ready to shred you up would be terrifying, though in the scenario I got this power I probably would try to find out. On the other hand, the amount of pain of all the non fatal slices before you died would probably be as bad or worse than old age death looping, at least for a while.
