I worked at this Efteling hotel between 2001 and 2003. I cannot believe how much has changed. So much renovated and refurbished. The dining hall, bar and room is totally different

Seeing all the extra details they didn't have to spend extra to do is always amazing especially living in a country of Merlin theme parks, really shows that Efteling is art, not just a business for profiting off

Loved seeing the on-site hotel. Whenever I travel for a park, I always try to stay onsite if there is an onsite resort. It just adds so much to the experience to just be able to walk in and out of the park throughout the day, and just be enveloped in the park atmosphere. From what I've seen, efteling is definitely a destination park! Thanks for showing so much of the park over this series of vlogs

I always enjoy your theme park videos, I've watched all your Efteling ones, Blackpool and of course my second favourite, after Efteling, Portaventura. Being a lot older than you I did the American disney ones, Busch Gardens, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Univeral etc in the late 90s/2000+. You and Charlotte make a brilliant team and I wish you both every happiness, I do hope Charlotte feels better soon as I was sorry to learn of her back problem.

When we went in March, it was Snow White in the restaurant and there were dwarf statues just outside, so I think they must rotate the fairytales. I love that you can see Pardoes in the evening and Rider Thomas and Red Riding Hood at breakfast

Looking forward to the vlogs guys. I actually saw an Ad for Efteling on the back of a bus here in Chelmsford, Essex. I've never seen ads for theme parks abroad before here in The UK, makes ya laugh how they make the effort to get us over there, but we don't see anything from the likes of Merlin on our buses for our own parks.

I stayed there back in 2022 during the parks 70th anniversary and its as beautiful as you said it was. But it was very hot at the time when I stayed there. Also experienced Spookslot as it was fair to do so before it became Danse Macabre. Also, I was learning Dutch for a year and a half prior to the trip and it paid off, and currently learning more for the next one next year as I plan to stay in the upcoming Grand Hotel.

Those rooms are so nice with all the little twerks, in some rooms they have the mice peeping trough a hole in the wall. Knowing from these statues it’s a bit funny that in the park you have the big diorama behind the carrousel that is having a real mouse problem that is making havoc in the diorama scenes, we call him Mousilla . If you have the possibility one day, you should stay in one of the themed suites or ask if you can have a look in them as a vlogger, if the can they wil let you. They are amazing and of the best themed suites of any themapark in the world. Have fun looking forward to the next vlogs from over there thanks for sharing.

The bar in the hotel is the go to meeting spot for subscription holders, a lot of them actually head to that bar after park closure so if you ever feel like socializing with Eftelingfans that definitely is one of the go to spots. Unfortunately this bar will be disappearing with the renovation in 2025.

The mouse is a so called Anton Pieck mouse. They're Efteling classics, you can find them all around the displays in the fairy tale forrest. Try to spot them, it's fun.

In the beginning of next year the mainfloor gets a refurbishment. The entrance will be switched towards the park and the bar will be gone. They will also add a new room with a spaceship kind of look. Because it is a floating hotel.
