Thank you. Just a couple of days ago, I ordered a filet and halibut (I was willing to pay for the entire meals even though I asked for no sides). The sweet waitress volunteer to check on crediting money since I wanted no sides. A rare treat and I will continue to go to that restaurant once a year. Cheers

Thank you for the tips! Today was my son's birthday, so our kids had pizza, cake, and ice cream. Today is day 9 of animal based eating for me and my husband. I already feel so much better. ❤ Also, my dad had open heart surgery today. Old me would have been stress eating. Some days I just don't eat as much because I'm just not hungry. I'm glad I am following my hunger cues again. Before, I would just mindlessly eat the junk food all day.

Recently we did a 3 1/2 day trip away.. I took 12 cans of sardines, a bag of Baked Pork rinds, a small bottle of mustard, a couple of avacados. I knew I could get eggs, baccon for breakfast and order plain hamburger. with out the crapy processed bread bun . I bought one of those small ninja blenders.. so I took it along with with my Whey Protein mix (has multi spectrum collagen, mono creatine, egg white powder), So super easy and I had enough protein for each day! I took enough Organic Beef Broth to drink each day. Seriously, there is no mystery to insuring you get enough healthy food each day when away from home. Most places have a microwave, so you can do quite a bit more with that as well.

My husband and I were recently invited to a gathering at a Mexican restaurant. On there front door was a large sign warning of seed oils, grains and gluten and soy. I was well prepared. After everyone got their food, I pulled out my sardines and had no issues eating them.

Wish I had the nerve to do that. I wonder if you can just ask for some carne asada.

@@ms.claretta8737 I personally don’t want to risk my health. Especially when they have a warning on their own door saying everything is cooked in grains or seed oils. No thank you. No one noticed me eating my sardines, they were too involved in their own food and conversations.

@@Wealthofhealth_CD Wow, I get it. And, you don't know the freshness of the oil if they use it over and over again. I'm adding sardines or herring to my emergency kit in the car.

@@ms.claretta8737 I often ask my meat to be cooked in butter but at Mexican places where they precook most it not all of there meat in advance you never know what it was cooked in or how fresh it is. I got over embarrassed or offending others a long time ago. My health comes first.

I usually only go out to dinner 2x a year. Order ala cart so you aren't charged for the sides only the meat.

I will eat burgers or steaks when I'm dining out, but avoid all seafood as the restaurants use farmed fish and shrimp. Those are absolutely toxic.

I'm surprised you have school age kids. I thought you were middle 60s.

@@Wealthofhealth_CD It's only rude if you think looking older is an insult.

@@sara.allegra WRONG! It’s rude to comment on someone’s age or how they look. Plus many people have children later in life so it should not surprise you that she has school age children. Plus it’s a comment with no value, no point, and nothing to learn from. It’s a baseless and insensitive comment that shows a lack of maturity on your part. Do better.
