I used VR Chat to go to "Dalaran" when I had no active WoW subscription just for nostalgia. Or to check out the starting zone plateau from Breath of the Wild, which some people also made. VR Chat has great potential. You just need to stay clear from the freaks, as usual. 👏😎

You are able to run, but you don't run everywhere. Why? Because it's exhausting. So why would you pick flight as your superpower? Teleport, always.
@bunklypeppz5 ай бұрын
Why would you assume flight is exhausting? I think when most people imagine the superpower of flight, they are thinking of the ability to telekinetically manipulate your own body through space, which would not only be less physically taxing than walking or running, but it would have other benefits as well. It would imply the ability to generate force in any direction with your whole body, making you able to punch or kick incredibly hard and without concern for positioning or balance.

as someone who is bad at souls games and souls-likes, it's not as simple as they make it out to be. Muscle memory is something that takes some building up, sure, but something else that is needed to utilize that muscle memory is rhythm. the ability to time your movements correctly to whatever is requiring proper timing to get right. its why i don't play rhythm games. my feet must be guilty because i got the rhythm of a deaf walrus. you could go to slap me in the face and you'd probably get two, probably three slaps in before i react to the first.
@Moddiebun6 ай бұрын
@@baronfuath5872 as someone who was bad and became good, it is exactly as tectone says, once you know the moves and their tells, you can begin to try to predictive dodge them, no reaction time needed, there is a wide window, and you can either react or preempt
@baronfuath58726 ай бұрын
@@Moddiebun my experience has lead me to believe otherwise. i play most games the same way i play a trading card game. when i lose, i leave and go gather all the things i need to trivialize and disrespect the obstacle in my way for having the audacity to make me lose. in the the case of TCGs, that obstacle is which ever opponent's deck i happen to have a grudge against for being bullshit. i just buy or grind out currency for new cards and build quick "i win, you lose and you get no say in the matter" decks. in the case of MMORPGs, i come back with more gear earned through side progression content or wait until the next expansion or the one after that where i can out level and out gear it solo or with a couple other people with me for mechanics that hardline cannot be soloed or skipped with high DPS. in the case of single-player RPGs, i leave, google every possible power up, level grinding spot, and anything else that can go towards trivializing an enemy, come back and blow through their health bars before any of the damage i take just standing there maximizing damage kills me. when a game makes a player rely on hand-eye coordination more so than the things they've gathered along their way to an obstacle i am out of my element, will never be in my element, and will always not dodge on time unless i spam dodge/roll and get lucky. don't even get me started on parrying.
