6 years ago I brought my daughter to a my little pony convention, she begged to go, the tickets were $80. She was 8 years old. We get there and it's a bunch of 28-45 year old men, Two of them tried to talk to my daughter and ask her what her favorite characters. Not Convention Workers, Grown men in pink crop tops. She was devastated.

Blame the creators for making the show so good. :) But, on a more serious note, blame society for shunning these men into becoming like this. People that are shunned by society for any manner of reasons become isolated and they latch on to any community that'll have them. That's why the MLP and furry community, to name a few, are filled with these people. They had no where else to go, because no one wanted them.

1:17:00 My input on this part of the conversation: I'm in my mid 20s and I've only ever had two girlfriends. The reason why I don't actively seek a new relationship is for two reasons; 1. I don't feel like I'm financially sound to maintain a relationship. It's not that I feel an obligation to pay for things, it's that I feel like I'm gonna spend money on her like it's a gacha. 2. I've been heartbroken pretty badly before, so I'm very hesitant to subject myself to that potential pain again. I'm not mentally ready for something like that again. Despite all this, I really want to be in a relationship again. I just have these weird personal blocks that are preventing me from taking another leap into one.

water absorb so much pressure. also sharapnel can not move more than a meter or so underwater (depending on the shape and size of it). So if you are not literally a dozen inches off of the bomb water would protect you. On the contrary outside of the pool you may cover or lower yourself to avoid as much pressure and sharapnel but there is no guarantee.

01:18:39 I was married, but felt neglected because she got wrapped up in work and stress all the time. I slowly started to feel more and more neglected until eventually I said enough was enough. But even then it felt like hell to follow through with separation & divorce. We were together 14 years. The divorce finalized in January of this year, I've still been processing it because to this day I'm not sure what I did to garner the neglect. I don't think about as chronically as I was, but it was insanely painful because even though I left her, it felt like she still left me because of the amount of pain and heart break.

The thing about this podcast is that they are genuinely friends and it shows. When Tectone tells them something random about whatever he's excited about, it just fills the room with genuine joy. But what causes hair loss is not actually the product(s) itself but the manual act of washing it that pull hair that may not regrow (so not washing it at all is a good strategy indeed to reduce hair loss).

To elaborate on the land vs pool explosion, water is incompressible, air is compressible. So you have a better chance of surviving on land, rather than dealing with the shrapnel AND pressure of the shockwave (which could turn your insides into mush) in the water. There are people that fish with explosives (blast fishing iirc) because its that effective. Crazy stuff

no poo is a thing, I haven't used shampoo in years (just washing with water). Using shampoo strips all the natural oils that protects your hair so your body reacts and makes more oils, when I first stopped using shampoo my hair was very oily for the first two weeks. Now it's more normal. When my hair was really long tho it got a lot more oily, I heard some people with long hair use a clay water.
