It seems to me he may have decided it would be too dangerous for the kids, or maybe he was tired of her keeping on at him about the waverider and so decided to sell it. It was his property to do what he wanted with and I think the grief is stopping the lady from thinking straight about this. She probably never asked much about his business dealings, or if she did he was the type to say don't worry it's all taken care of. I feel bad for the defendant with the way she talked about him, like him nagging her for money, when in fact he waited 18 months to be paid. I think in time she will come to realise the defendant was a nice guy and a loyal worker and she treated him badly. She should also have had somebody go in to the business and catalogue all the assets when he died, that way if the waverider wasn't there then she would have known for sure her husband did a deal over it. I hope she does call the 3 witnesses. Most thieves don't operate that way, but a smart one would especially if the seller is deceased & the legitimate paperwork is readily accessible.

I do things and don’t tell my husband… but eventually I do!! Maybe he didn’t get around to it. He was sick 😳

This is how hoarding disorder manifests. I really hope the plaintiff gets/got therapy.

I notice JM picks and chooses who she gives condolences to in court cases…..

First time in my life I have ever heard of a lawyer who did not want to talk.

My only question is what invoices did she have to pay him for? If the wave runner was payment for the work he did then why was he sending her bills after her husband passed away?
@charliefleming32518 ай бұрын
He might have done more work between the time he got the waverunner and the time of the husbands death, that he was still owed for.

She should of used the money she spent on that lawyer to buy her kids a new wave runner. Husband got a sweet deal by offering it instead of having to pay for the work. Shes upset bc he husband didnt tell her

I wanted to believe the lady but how did he get the title? You can’t do anything without that. Also a thief would get paperwork so they can legally use the thing bc in Florida you can’t even put a boat in the water unless it’s registered lol I learned that recently 🤣🤣

Because the husband legally signed it over! Don't get fooled by her crying

@@TopherGrant lol ik this no one was fooled that’s why I said I wanted to believe her🤣 …..but of course I will feel sorry for her and the children’s loss at the end of the day I can’t imagine how she feels

Hard to watch… sorry for what that lady had to go through. The judge isn’t wrong but life sucks!!

is there not a date on the bill of sale? or a date of when it was registered in his name? would that not prove whether it was changed hands before or after the plaintiff's husband died? or did he not reg it for a while(not sure how it works in the US)

Wow she’s so wrong and the judge should’ve said more about branding him a theif. It’s wrong
