(Chicago here too) I had a car in the city for about 5 years and never once got a ticket or a tow because I PAID ATTENTION to the signs and would take the time to find a valid free parking spot. I set for 4 hrs. on the interstate because of a tow truck company. They accepted the tow, then wouldn't come and tow me. I had to wait on another company to get dispatched. AAA and their fine dispatchers.

I wouldn't expect everyone to come in dressed for a formal dinner, but you could at least wear something that is fit for a courtroom, especially when you are representing a company. That top looked like it has been stretched so much that it won't go back into shape and holes have opened up. Besides that, how can anyone tell so many lies, no legit company is going to allow an ex-employee to talk to their customers. That employee was fully involved in that tow and is probably still on the companies pay roll.

Yes!! He might not be on payroll any more but their paying him under the table to get them tows. When I use to repo, if we had trouble finding a car the big boss man would offer the neighbors money if they called when they see the car at home. You would be shocked at the number of people that actually did call just to get that money. One was a hellcat and the offer was $500 dollars. I swear I think people went looking for that car. We had so many "neighbors" call and say they think they see the car. Funny thing the old lady that lived a couple of doors down told us he was hiding it on the next street over 😂😂. She got that money!!

Towing companies get paid to tow cars, they don’t care if they towed the wrong car. Most people will just pay it. Of the dozen tow companies I’ve dealt with, 1 was a good company.

Great judgement! This is definitely NOT the first time this tow company has pulled this, it's just the first time someone has had the galls/evidence (ie the recording) to prove it. This is also why the diagram is so important. I was so confused by what they were saying. They should have had the diagram up so that the Plaintiff could show where he was parked vs where the tow company said he was parked "blocking a driveway". The company should have ALSO sent someone who knew about the case and knew about the situation instead of Mrs Clinton overhear with her constant, "I do not recall" or "I don't know".
