@@seansullivan7928More than anything else really it was him growing up in the “right time period”. I mean these stories of being wild and living in the madness couldn’t have truly took place at a moment in time where the United States was more perfect for such things to occur. 70s, 80s, 90s and just a little ways into the 2000s. Life was just a beautiful thing to live then and I being someone who only got to really experience about half the 90s and the rest thru the 2ks ofc. I got to experience truly what was probably the last true real beauty of the wild side of our country and man I loved it. Sad cause idk if the next gens will get to feel that free roam in your neighborhood causing trouble with your friends from school and getting to grow up with the life lessons like uncle Joey tries to stress to us all
@Shlankyman5455 ай бұрын

I smoked pot with a high school buddy for his first time, within a year or so him and his brother got busted on some serious possession and I guess distribution charges and somehow wound up in relatively severe legal trouble despite his age and clean record. He never came back to school and I never knew what happened to him until bumping into him in line for Metallica tickets a couple years later. Never saw him again but we reconnected on Facebook for a while some years back, apparently he'd had a bad round with the powder and some kinda rough years. I couldn't help but feel a small bit responsible, but I don't really feel that way with pot, I'd feel differently about it if I'd given him heroin or something.
