Good vid. Nice to know real world reviews on this stuff. MPGs on the lie-o-meter are why I hear my dodge buddies saying “I get 21 mpg in mine going 80 mph all day long!” “With my mirrors flipped up!” Etc Etc lol My 19 f250 6.7 lies by .7 to .8 usually too high. My truck is shown on my channel. PS my 19 today has almost the same miles on it 13,312. It’s such a fun engine!

Ya I plan to make another more in depth video with real numbers and using the same diesel pump to fill up in order to be as accurate as possible

Elevation probably plays a big part in your results too. I grew up in that area. Sometimes I miss it.

I have a 2021 f250 and this is about the only option I have for any type of performance upgraded until the warranty is up. There are ways of doing it it is just a bit more annoying.

Yeah but isn’t there a tune difference between 2017+ 6.7 and the 2011-2016 6.7 tunes
@THUNDERstroke736 жыл бұрын
Not as far as the module goes. Says right on the the box 11-18 power stroke. This doesn't really tune it. Basically just controls fuel pressure.

That does NOT correlate with any other type engine BUT the one it was created for ...this dude is LOST !

Hey thunder stroke73 I got a question I was kinda curious if you use any diesel additives in your 7.3s if so what brand would you recommend
@kalyndiede18676 жыл бұрын
I've used hot shots and diesel kleen. I like both. I honestly never see any real difference but I still use them from time to time for a piece of mind
@cruzboitnott756 жыл бұрын
Thanks I’ll have to check out those brands how often do you put it in ur tanks every fill up

Did you get the dually ? Will the module from your 17 fit on the 19?
@THUNDERstroke735 жыл бұрын
Yes and yes
@jeff43575 жыл бұрын
Ok because I traded my 17 dually for a 19 dually last weekend I own the stealth module and had it installed on my 17 I guess I’ll install it on the new truck
@THUNDERstroke735 жыл бұрын
@@jeff4357 yup it will work. I ended up just deleted my dually
@crich12184 жыл бұрын
@@THUNDERstroke73 Do you prefer the delete/tune vs the power module? What components and tunes did you go with? Im about to delete a 17 250 but this power module just came across my path.

Either way ? Theres only 1 way to calculate fuel mileage. And you managed to screw that up .

Watch The Great Derringer shoot out from banks power . They dyno all different tuners this added only 11 hp. and cost $3 in material to make. All it does is add rail pressure not necessarily a good thing for you trucks fuel system. I have a 17 powerstroke I put in a DP tuner trans tune only no engine tune it locks up torque converter in 2nd gear made truck a lot faster no mileage increase though.
@87DodgeD1505 жыл бұрын
Be sure to watch the other side of the story video from Stealth. Banks did the test with a defective module.
@slyny14035 жыл бұрын
@@87DodgeD150 I had a duramilage module designed by the same guy it did absolutely nothing to my 17 powerstroke besides turn on the service engine light all the time. Trust me I if you could gain this much as much mileage as they claim the OE manufacturers would use them. They would sell trucks like crazy and blow away the competition.
@87DodgeD1505 жыл бұрын
@@slyny1403 manufacturers always leave stuff on the table when dealing with OEM stuff. I've been very happy with my hand calculated fuel mileage gains as well as power increases from the module. Over 2 years of use and not one issue.

When you have more power, you can use less throttle and that’s where the fuel economy comes from.

Why the f*** dont you turn it up all the way??? Thats what it does. More pressure more mpg. Hp. Stack it and do even better????

How does more fuel pressure equal less fuel consumed???
