This didn't work for me initially and then it would power off whenever I unplugged it. So I went back to BIOS and restored defaults and NOW it works.

I bought a used steam deck in what appears to be fantastic condition but the touch doesn't seem to work even after the battery storage I've tried this multiple times without luck additionally I'm uncertain if there's a screen protector and I'm not sure I want to try prying at the screen if it does not in fact have a screen protector😮

How come my options look different when I try to locate those settings ? It gives me hard drive selections options but it does not look like what yours did when you entered that mode. Plus it wouldn’t let me move the cursor around and just booted back up in its own right away. I need help

Keep the charger connected, volume + and power on. Go to battery storage. Let it do it's thing. Power on, unplug charger while it is turning on (assuming it's already fully charged). Now it should work! My advice, only use the official steam deck charger. Others could damage components or heat parts of the steam deck like the screen and cause I realize. Good luck! Don't give up. I did what the video suggested and it worked, but I had to turn with the charger connected to turn it on at all, disconnecting the cable while it is turning on, and know everything works as it should. It's a bit weird, but the essential is it works.
