You need to download head unit reloaded and use ACC audio. Either your phone or the head unit has crappy 2.4ghz and not enough bandwidth.

That's what the app is called. It allows you to configure and set up stuff to either have Android auto start automatically when you plug your phone in USB or once it connects wirelessly with the wireless server for Android auto. It also lets you use compressed audio so that it doesn't lag over wireless

@@Durataur Way better then stock. Even with good aftermarket speakers, the stock sync 1 setup in my 2011 F150 sounded weak and muffled. Being able to use car launcher with the head unit if you are not gonna use android/apple car play is a great thing.

8 months for me still good. Don’t need usb for CarPlay now. It’s wireless. Sounds oem now I have amps to my door speakers sounds amazing

Thanks man. Been really straggling getting it to sound right. Running aftermarket speakers, sub, and amp (all quality) and just can't get it dialed. Waiting for a line driver to arive.

@@BrockWeiszbrod I had to connect to wifi and update mine then bam it worked. For steering controls I had to go to factory settings code 000000. Then had to find the system that worked with f150. I forget what that setting was called but the 1 with all the Chinese Japanese words. I had to click each 1 and scroll through there compatible cars for 30 mins before I found 1 that works with f150
