Honestly for me $100 for an whole year seems like a great deal I loveeee to dance but can’t afford dance classes around my area there’s so many well known choreographers and many different styles of dance on the app, along with all the adjustments to learn at your pace is great 😁

Hey honestly, even 20 bucks a month for all those classes is an amazing price. Thank you for your review!!! :)
@timmyngo47564 жыл бұрын
Fun fact: typical dance classes (from the Southern California area) usually cost about $12-25, depending on which class you take. Steezy made a fair price of $100 a year tbh. However, it is all about the commitment to stick with continuous dance classes and want to make it part of your lifestyle. Again $20 for the first month isn't bad as well tbh.

Love this video. Most of the people from Steezy are people I've taken in class in person. Such as David Lee, Tristan Edpao, Brian Puspos, etc... those are one of a few dancers who have taught me how to improve in dancing in Los Angeles County. Hope you enjoy more of these class routines, foundational classes, etc... Try and come by any dance studio either its industry-based or anything. The entire dance culture is open and frees up to anyone. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE WHOLE STEEZY EXPERIENCE!!!
@timmyngo47564 жыл бұрын
Little fun fact about Steezy features: Looping is usually used for dancers who want to repeat the section part such as "repeating the first half of the choreography". It would repeat and continue to repeat until you feel comfortable enough to understand or grasp what the choreograph is meant to move as. Speed usually would either be focusing on intriguing details that the choreographer is making such as the executing the "heel-toe-heel" with "tutting". Speed would also be used for slowing the music down to see what beats the choreographer hit either its hit hats, bass, etc... So far, these are really good points that you valid. I have been dancing for 2 years (I still consider myself a beginner), but I would recommend on learning foundational classes in steezy, it will help add your own movement, basic concepts, and improve your flow of feeling the movement instead of following the movement. If you're able to read all of this, I'm sorry that I made this list too long hahaha, I'm just enthusiastic that there are people who are trying to dance more in this world. Thank you!!!

Hi Tommy! I love your enthusiasm and advice!! That’s so cool that you’ve taken classes with these teachers in person! It must be super fun. I wonder what the difference is for you between taking these classes in a studio versus online? Thanks 😊😊
@timmyngo47564 жыл бұрын
@@AlexandraJaneYOGA thank you for responding and taking the time to read 🥺. The main difference between taking classes online vs in-person is the ability of motivation and commitment. While taking online, I’ve had issues of knowing how I’m moving, and the ability to do it at my own time and pace makes the entire class feel very loose. However, taking it online does give me the opportunity to take the class as many times as I can (ability to retake a class that have a song I really like, retaking a class that has moves you want to do again, and retake so you can have better-thinking habits of the intricate details certain moves feel like). Online dance classes would teach all types of foundational classes FROM ACROSS THE WORLD (i think) to help you know the basics of knowing how to feel moving. Taking classes in person is a huge motivation as the instructors genuinely COMMUNICATE with students. They can correct students of how to shift the body, encourage students to do it multiple times to understand what the student(s) feel in the class, and knowing when the class would end for the day. If you see my recent post on my YT channel ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnWmiapverdshLM ) you can see some of my friends executing Hugh's choreography as they were selected by Hugh. Meaning Hugh acknowledged these students and want to share these students' talents to show how they executed differently. (BTW, these classes have mirrors as well, meaning it can help students correct their positioning when they look into the mirror.) Some issues taking these classes, certain classes may be completely full meaning that you may or may not have a good spot to see the instructor during class to see what they are doing. I highly recommend checking out a few dance class review videos who visited studios such as Kinjaz Dojo, SnowGlobe Perspective, The Lab, Play Ground, etc... (if you want to dance at a big studio, the biggest studio I've taken a class from is SnowGlobe Perspective). For beginner dance teacher, I *HIGHLY RECOMMEND* taking Bianca Vallar, you can take her in Steezy or whenever she teaches in Los Angeles. She's the main teacher who helped me improve a lot in connecting movements from choreography as mapping the movements (you may see her at Disneyland as well since she performs for some parades LOL). (If you read all of this, again, sorry for too much info but thank you for considering dance as an interest. If you want to see me dancing, you can check out my IG @icantdancetimmy)

I don't like their classes, but the software they developed for their videos is superb! they really thought of everything from a dance student perspective, the different angles, the speed, side by side dancing, I wish this was a standard for people teaching online, or that there was some software or platform that does the same and was available to any dance teacher, I'm tired of following teachers who record themselves upfront, instead of in front of a mirror from the back, it confuses me from which site to start haha.
