I can’t even begin to express my anger with 4x7. Welcome to the episode that made me want to set the writers on fire. After Stefan broke up with her in 4x6 I was thinking okay awesome, this is amicable they talked about it etc cause I, like MANY people, absolutely love Stefan and like you I didn’t want Damon and Elena to get together in a way that was shitty to Stefan. I was really excited for 4x7 I was thinking okay it may be hard for Stefan but I can’t wait to see his character moving on. Given his prior behavior and conversations with Damon and Elena about them having feelings for each other, I didn’t think he was going to be ANGRY per se. Remember the whole conversation in the car in 3x22 If she picks me if she picks you blah bah we’ll leave town and let he other live in peace. I’m not saying he should do that I am just using it as an example of how Stefan behaved about the possibility of a Damon/Elena relationship prior to this episode. Of all the ways I thought we might see Stefan dealing with the breakup, being a dick to his brother, making Elena feel like a broken toy and turning him into a psycho creating vampires and making Jeremy kill them was not a scenario I’d considered. Even though I was surprised at the sudden shift in Stefan, I was still excited to watch what I thought would be Delena getting together after a RESPECTFUL amount of time had gone by, but the writers however said fuck it let’s make Stefan do stupid crazy shit and have everyone hate Damon and Elena. They even somehow managed to make people (not me) angry with Caroline … and I didn’t know that was possible. I mean Elena sleeping with Damon the day after Stefan breaks up with her… really???? How could Stelena shippers NOT hate that? They’d have every right to. Hell I was angry on their behalf. Not to worry though because they had a big old fuck you in store for the Delena fans too. By this point in the show I was in fact a Delena shipper. I have watched some reactors to this episode who at least got some happiness (those that weren’t bothered by the fact that Stefan broke up with her the day before) when Damon and Elena are making out. I however had NONE. Cause my ass figured out what was going on in a Klaus and Caroline scene near the middle of the episode. When I realized what was going on i was annoyed but I thought okay fine the sire bond is another obstacle Damon and Elena would have to deal with before they get together. (that thought was before I realized Elena was going to sleep with Damon later in the episode) However in the course of the episode I realized that yep, they are really going to do this… They’re gonna get naked and so I spent the rest of the episode pretty much fuming and then full out screaming at my tv when they started to hook up and basically made it look like the first time Damon and Elena have sex could be rape cause she may not have had the ability to consent to it. I mean wtf. It was a punch to the face to all the fans who had been wanting them to get together for so fricken long to have it go down like that… AAAAHHHGGG!! Seriously I lost my mind.

You actually got the answer to the 12 dead thing in ep 8. Back in the 40s, when Damon sought to unsire Charlotte, he killed 12 people. Stefan didn't want a cure because Elena was a vampire. in 2x20 he even said he wanted to live with her forever, but she never wanted to be a vampire. she was hating herself and felt like she was becoming someone else. Stefan went after the cure because he knew that Elena never wanted to be a vampire, not because he wouldn't love her if she were one.

Sure it’s a fantasy world but they still live on the same earth we do and they still have morals especially that early in the series where most of them are still human so I’m pretty sure killing someone’s brother just cause they rejected you will turn some people off. If you use this excuse all the time, you can defend anything in this show and people can never get mad at anything that happens. Like I’ve seen people try to defend the fact Damon abused Caroline by saying “it’s a magic show, it doesn’t count” like wtf?? He still abused her and it’s disgusting that people deny that.

It's crazy that a day or 2 after Stefan and Elena broke up, she slept with his brother In his house. IDC what anyone say that's wrong period; It was the Icing on the cake after kissing Damon throughout her relationship with Stefan. She judge Katherine so much, but Elena was essentially stringing both brothers along while being in a relationship with Stefan. This is not hate against Damon & Elena's relationship. Yes they have chemistry... but the way Elena went about it was wrong and the writers, write her with such little self awareness

you shouldn't have seen the series you. Elena she whined like a kid because she didn't want to become a vampire. Stefan he just wanted to help her because he knew that Elena didn't want to be a vampire and all the complications that was going to entail. They just said Stefan treated her like that in order to make their breakup more believable because at no point did he treat her like that.
