Hi, I'm reinstalling my rsv4 heads after replacing exhaust valves guides, and as a newbie, your videos are absolutely amazing for me, thanks a lot! I have a question if possible: After making the timings, when I rotate the engine by hand, I notice that the cam chains loose their tension at a specific crankshaft position (not the same for front and rear cylinders). Is it normal? The tension loss is on the fixed guide chain side, at least 1/2 centimers. Any help would be rally appreciated. I reinstalled 2 times the distribution with same result

do the timing marks' on primary gear need to be in order with the timing marks on the cams?

What lbs do you torque your head bolts to... ?? I just installed a used "ebay" head and the engine blows smoke like a smoke stack... :/ It sat in garage for a year so im hoping it will clear up

its set front head camshafts 2 dot intake 1 dot exhaust, then tdc cylinder #1 turn crank 450 degree's and set rear head camshafts intake 1 dot exhaust 2 dot... timing is correct ?? :) HELP Please.....

You start with the front cylinders. For this you have to set cylinder 1 (LR) to TDC or German OT and turn it 150 degrees further. Now you have the correct position for cyl. 2+4 You did the rest right.

Real thanks for this specialist work. i was working on a Aprilia RSV4 2009 since 2 years now.. It is now i find all my small errors to rebuild the engine.

Echt super erklärt. Vielen Dank & schon abonniert. Ich wollte als nächstes die O-Ringe unter den Nockenwellenhaltern wechseln weil ich Öl an der Zündkerze habe. Kann ich die Halter eins nach dem anderen ausbauen mit angespannter Steuerkette & ohne Spezialwerkzeug von Aprilia? ✌️

Kurze Zwischeninfo: Motor ist mittlerweile eingebaut, läuft erwartungsgemäß einwandfrei...und am Sonntag geht es dann nach Rijeka :)

Moin Johann, super Video. Womit blockierst Du die Kurbelwelle wenn Du z.B. die Mutter vom Zahnrad auf der Hauptantriebswelle anziehst? Die bekommt ja 200Nm, oder?
