My guitar heroes are Johnson, Satriani and Vai -- in that order. I saw the G3 live at the Music Fair in Valley Forge. Those guys are great! Steffen Schackinger blows them out of the water. His combination of brilliant composition and flawless execution raises the guitar to a new level. How can we help him get the exposure he deserves?

If this had been named something like, say, "Always with You, Always with Me," (1987) or even "Cliffs of Dover," (1990) Steffen Schackinger would be working on his third album and would be a household name among those who appreciate great guitar work and great composition. However, thanks to the dopey name "Electricguitartistry," this amazing composition, and the brilliant artist behind it, will remain forever in the obscure domain of guitar dweebs like us.

dweeb with me now ... breathe in ... and hold ... and visualise ANY scale except the minor pentatonic and any progression not using 1 , 4 or 5 ... and ... run to your best guitar whilst exhaling ... most of the guys at candyrat are top notch if a tiny bit stuffy ( need to get out mere ) ... but then again ... i`d rather have these guys than the womanising ego driven drug addled morons we used to think were worth adulation ( they`re rich ... send me the drugs )

Evil Sean You should learn not to take everything random haters on KZbin say as gospel. World is full of jealous, hateful and straight up crazy people, and KZbin is home to a lot of them. So until you actually get to know the guy, don't believe what other people say because 100 people will say 100 different things. Besides, this guy is just a random nobody, why should you believe anything he claims?

This is the first time I've seen this guy and what stands out is that he focuses mainly on melody with great technique and flash sprinkled in.
