I'm pretty happy this morning! When I woke up my new female lyretail molly I have in quarantine just had a dozen babies and they're super cute with different colors. Then when I opened the lit on my tank I saw my first clutch of golden apple snail eggs under the lid! I'm gonna try to incubate them and see if I get a bunch of new baby snails. This is my first time having apple snail eggs so I'm super excited! 🤩

So I have a bunch of snails in my 65 gallon. And my boyfriend had the lids open for a couple days and we didn’t notice that our snails laid eggs we think they were laid yesterday because we haven’t noticed them until last night but they’re a creamy white color and they were dry. I ended up spraying the tops of the lids down and closing it. Will they still hatch or did we accidentally kill them?

So I made the yogurt container incubator and I just check in it today. One of my clutches hatched! And had babies all over it! I moved it to a Tupperware with conditioned tank water in it and put in some dehydrated brine shrimp and blanched greens....I can’t see them moving at all so I’m really nervous they were in the incubator too long. Can any help?

I just use 32oz and 16oz deli cups and a piece of craft mesh. you can either cut the bottom off both cups and use suction cups to attach it to the grow out tank or leave the bottom on the larger cup and transfer them after they hatch

What do you think transparent container would be able to incubate? And I thought that to float the incubator with some thermacoal pieces for some time in the aquarium itself for more moisture for the eggs , what do you think ? Your help will be greatly appreciated. : )

Very cool video! I find it very interesting what you do. I also have snail which I have catched a couple of weeks ago and see if I can keep it alive. I want to breed them and I going to catch some other snails.
