A masterpiece from the past! Many engineers stole from this weapon. I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes when I saw this weapon for the first time. This weapon was decades ahead of its time.

Thank you kindly. I have great respect for JM Browning, but Andreas Achwarzlose to me was not less creative or talented but he was not as business and marketing savvy. Thus he probably didn’ t enter the hall of fame as much as he should have. Although is machine gun was quite successful. Still. Not many people know that name….it’s a shame. I owe a great deal of gratitude to Ian from the Forgotten Weapons who got me addicted to this obscure gun maker. I want people to see and appreciate the beauty of his creations. Please see the rest of my short videos on the subject. Enjoy.

It's both a huge and slender handgun. The external striker fire instead of a hammer fire system is novel. The bolt appears to be lugged, is it a rotating bolt design? If it is a rotating bolt with an external striker fire it would be similar to a Swiss straight pull bolt design. Probably designed about the same period?

Yes, rotating bolt , 4 lugs. I will show it in details. There,s a 3 d video of it , x ray views . Check it out. It,s actually very comfortable in my small hands and very light, feels like a target pistol.

Nice post brother. We were all thinking the same thing about a rotating bolt. Great to hear our lad is going to do this review again with bolt details. I think it makes it a very special design. One could scale it up/down as NEEDED. Thanks to V.S. too. We really love your work mate. 10/10

Дорого. Но вариантов не было в конце 19 века. Его делали так же Лугер. На ручной фрезе. Потом собирали из наиболее гладко подходящих деталей, потом каждую деталь маркировали серийным №, потом закаляли, потом воронили.
