Definitely hoping you'll proceed with Steins Gate Zero. I don't remember the details, but I think before that come episode 23 beta and a movie.

Why does Kurisu have her arms tied at the end of the Steins;Gate ED? Of course, the answer to that question has not been clearly stated by the production team. However, Steins;Gate contains various suggestions in its picture of op too. Therefore, we should consider that the image of Kurisu in this ending also has meaning. The hint is that this ED doesn't play in episodes 23 and 24. In episode 23, Okarin finds a way to save Kurisu. In other words, Kurisu cannot be saved until episode 22. It was as if "she was forever held captive by fate." In other words, I think we should think that that footage was hinting at Kurisu's fate all along. By the way, there is another important reason that supports this reasoning. However, it contains spoilers for Steins;Gate 0, so I will not write it.

You should watch the episode 1 again. Then move on to the OVA (episode 25) and the movie.

I recommend you watch Steins;Gate: Egoistic Poriomania(2012) And continued with Steins;Gate: The Movie - Load Region of Déjà Vu(2013) It's the end for Steins;Gate. After that, it was Steins;Gate 0 that came out 7 years later. Many things changed, such as the director. For me personally, Steins;Gate 0 is a bad sequel because it lost Hamasaki Hiroshi (director of Steins;Gate 2011 anime), so I want you to watch Egoistic Poriomania and Déjà Vu, it's Hamasaki Hiroshi's work.

To be fair S:G 0 probably did the best it could with the source material, it's just that 0 was... at best, okay. It had a lot of buildup but didn't really pay off satisfactorily. A lot of loose plot threads got left dangling because the game ran out of time or money, or the developers just ran out of ideas and threw together an ending. Watching it does not really add anything valuable to the Steins;Gate experience, in the end. It's not bad, it's just.. a completely unneeded sequel, and the fact that it exists kind of tarnishes how perfect Steins;Gate was in the first place.

I used to have exactly the same impression with SG0, but I changed my mind. I do not like the whole story very much, but I like respective episodes individually.
