It's finally here! My thesis film from the Maryland Institute College of Art, "Stella's Shadow". I worked really hard on this and I'm so glad I can finally release this online to the public. Enjoy!

Hey, maybe I'm misinterpreting the film, but I'm just not seeing it as a cute story about a girl and a demon. Hear me out. I've experienced a horribly toxic "friendship" before, and this pretty much shows exactly how one plays out. Our protagonist is alone and feels like she can't find anyone to be her friend, so she fills the role with someone... sketchy... and ignores the obvious warning signs. This person slowly makes her life miserable, and when someone tries to help her leave the toxic situation, the "friend" targets him to scare him off.This would all be fine, like, "I don't know, maybe it's a metaphor!"........ Except, that's how it ends. No resolution, no explanation. Like I said, I'm probably reading into this too much, and I appreciate it from an artistic standpoint. But, I've lived this story, and it isn't cute.(Please excuse my rambling haha)
