Exactly, just put the afore mentioned V8s in a useable pickup truck that can actually be used for towing or work. I personally would have no use for the "street truck" and I believe that most RAM owners or prospective buyers would agree. The "street truck" concept in too niche.

The $27K Hemi is out there. It's just not in demand. Before you say 'Nuh-Uh' it's called the Ram 2500 Tradesman single cab, 8 ft bed, 2WD with a gas guzzling 6.4L Hemi. With all the discounts out now, it's down to $27K. They are just rare because they don't sell.

Ram needs a bare bones (just power windows and locks, prewired for aftermarket stereo and basic AC) Quad Cab with a non-MDS Hemi, vinyl seats/optional cloth, washable vinyl floor with drain plugs. 4×4 models should get locking diff out of factory, and make a Tradesman and Outdoorsman package with actual utility with no mandatory bells and whistles. Base price $30k, 4x4 ads $2k.

Sucks that the viper V10 is not coming for Ram, it would been a nice addition to the TRX and the SRT Ram. A $45K Single Cab V10 with either manual or the 8 Speed would kick @$$, now imagine a TRX and the V10 and side exhaust pipes like the viper ahh the possibilities ;) I guess we can rejoice that Ram is working on making V8 trucks and dropping the price on all models starting next year :)

Not bad for a Prototype SRT Ram. Ford has the Shelby F150 monster. A single cab shorty V8 F159. A single cab V8 Ram is a MUST! A V8 Ram in all trips has to happen. Ford offers the F150 V8 in all lengths, single cab "Shorty" , quad cab four door for 1/2 to 3/4 ton, base models, XL, XLT, to Shellys to Raptor R Supercharged Coyote V8 F150s. The SRT Ram thumbnail looks nice, but I would tone it down without the racing stripes. I just want a Shorty base model Sleeper with any Hemi size I want , trans and rear-end. No flash and glam, just business. Yes Ram, build the glits and glam SRT for those that want it but build a simple base model for the Mopar guys that just want a simple body and Mopar Muscle. All we need is the smallest stripped down Ram body with biggest Hemi you can put at the cheapest price. Oh yeah, please,, don't even put Hemi badges on the side. We want sleepers and don't want our trucks stolen. 😊

Belvedere is getting STLA Large platform, only Brampton is getting the medium platform. Any mid size Ram would be on the same Medium platform that the new Jeep Compass is also on, which is confirmed for production at Brampton Assembly.

The vehicle will launch for the European market in 2025 and built in Italy first. Followed by the 2026 model year for North America built at Brampton Assembly on the STLA Medium platform, which they are currently retooling for.

Because they’re saying it wouldn’t be finished in time before the contract end which stla promised ,and from last i was hearing from belvidere employees which was in October is that they haven’t even started yet.. unless they did within the last couple months.. also, things changed with trump admin now, and from what I remember TK saying is that they’re going to move products out of Brampton and move them to Belvidere.. I could of misheard though, or misremembered

@@zeekot4064 the tariffs won't change anything. Stellantis will retool both Brampton and Belvidere because they each have their own platform and different vehicles to build. The Brampton retool has started and will pick up speed in the new year. I've heard that outside Contractors and skilled trades will be in by the second week of January to help speed things up. Brampton is retooling for the STLA Medium platform and launching with the 2026 jeep compass. For Belvidere the retool will take longer as it hasn't started yet and the plant has sat idle for over 2 years. Belvidere will retool for the Large platform and build the next generation of the Dodge Durango for 2028.

Wish Ram would make a fast truck for the street. The TRX has it's place but it weighs 6400 lbs. Go to any dragstrip and you will see slimmed down Ford F-150's running the Coyote with a Whipple and making roughly 800 hp. They have the suspension set for the track and they will fly. Thumbnail does appear to be street focused which is nice.

Almost reminiscent of the Lil Red Truck. 😄 As nice as the street truck sounds... and as fun as it might be... the only reasons I wouldn't buy one are: A) The MSRP will probably have more digits before the decimal than I have siblings; and, B) Where I live there's just too much snow to drive around with a front air dam sticking out from the bumper. Besides, the roads are bad enough that it would damage the truck.

Rip the roof off the hornet, give it a slight redesign, add a pickup bed, beef up the four cylinder, add some diesel models and other engine options and it’d be set. And before u get mad, the maverick is literally just a bronco sport or ford escape with the roof ripped off. As is the Hyundai Santa Cruz being a scalped Tucson and a Honda ridgeline being a scalped pilot and/or odyssey

I want a modern version of the 89 Dodge Ram, keep it cheap, make options, not trim levels., sell them cheap, mass produce them, build the name and the trust back, keep the cycle going. When a dad buys a new truck and gives his kid the old, while it's still nice, that's how you introduce the kid to the brand, make it easy to work on, have a few add ons that kids can wrench on themselves, then the kid will be loyal too, until you go v6 turbo woke and sell over priced junk that the working man can't afford.

Sell much more as an extended cab because lower price and far more parking lot friendly. Not so sure how many could be sold in 4 door or 2 door. It does look killer. The single cab will not happen, at least not soon, for several reasons. 1. There was never a 5th gen Ram single cab that has come to market. Meaning the R&D for a single cab, crash test certifications and frame manufacturing doesn’t already exist. That would be a large hurdle and expensive thing for Stellantis to rush through, when they are already struggling. It doesn’t make sense right now. The quad cab and crew cab already exist and just need minor tweaking. It’s the fastest route. 2. Vehicle manufacturers have to meet CAFE standards across their whole product lineup. Part of those requirements are not only fuel mileage but also fuel mileage per occupants the vehicle can carry. So think of it as fuel mileage per person transported. This is the reason Chevrolet had a Single cab SS Silverado concept that never came to production, while the extended cab did in 2003-2006. The extended cab had near the same fuel mileage as the single cab, but could transport 3 additional passengers. GM made one single cab and brought it on the 2004 hotrod power tour for conceptual testing. Many people wanted the truck, but it never came to be. 3. The single cab “could” be an option on the “Ram Classic” 4th gen platform that has just been extended for another year. It has already been offered with a 5.7 and even as an RT variant with sport hood for a handful of years. It would be a direct swap to add a 6.4 or 6.2 and make a killer street truck. That body style is 15 years old however. Food for thought.
