I'm a Mustang guy but I love these cars. Especially the Challenger. I feel bad for the guys at FCA working on the future designs because I just don't think you could make this car look any better. The only thing I would like to see is bigger rubber for the rear end of the Challenger higher end models. Again, what a beautiful, mean looking beast. Great job, FCA.

More really needs to be done on the Charger design to set them apart looks wise with each model. Like this Daytona looks 90% like the most expensive model you can purchase which is the Hellcat. More just needs to be done to differentiate them apart.

+HELLCAT Or No Car / ABRAMS Or No Tank they just diluted the scat pack, like they did the SRT brand with the scat pack, which has worked out very well. I prefer the 392 stand out, and I prefer my Corsa extremes and viper reproductions, but both RTS look great in the 5.7 and 6.4. The lit up intakes are a nice touch as r the electronic cutouts. that saves a grand or so. nice job Dodge!

@rp productions, i think that the new charger Daytona and thes the challenger t/a are exactly what the disagree line up needed. And i think top answer your question the 5.7 and 6.4 will sale side by side at the same. It seem you may be disappointed that dodge is offering the Daytona with the srt engine. Something dodge never did until now and i think that's great on dodges behalf because they offer a variety of performance packages solely in what a person wants and can afford. They probably will sale more of the 5.7 charger Dayton's than anything and I'd i were a scat pack owner I'd probably trade it in for the charger Daytona 392.

i love my scat pack . never had american before . always japonese . but man just 485 is like wow. hearing that motor at full throttle switching gears sounds like a dinosaur is under the hood . love the ar. it feels like a real muscle car and i always get the stares from mustang and camaro drivers. because the challengy looks so much more muscle like .

I have a 2004 Accord, its long since been paid off, bought used and i can used the money that would of gone to a car payment for other things and investments that give back better return. i do not like to lease, the last new car i bought was a 2001 mustang GT. Driving a new car, leased or bought is a monthly expense i can do without. I don't care what people think about me or how i perceive what a new car will do for me.

Nick O Completely agree. I can't help but feel like Dodge dropped the ball on this. Dodge has SO MANY muscle/cruisers to choose from, why are they adding two more to the lineup? Im sure there's LOTS of Dodge fans out there wishing for something with a more hardcore emphasis on road course performance. People who weren't content just slapping a supercharger on and calling it a hardcore performance car. People who want a full suspension kit, rear seat delete, cross brace, etc. Basically a Boss 302 Laguna Seca or GT350R competitor. Now I understand the Challenger isn't a small car and it's not a light car, but why does that mean it's stupid to ask for a more performance oriented package? Something that goes beyond just a simple suspension tune and builds you a track day ready Challenger like Ford has already done TWICE. Lol. I'd feel pretty shut out if I were a Dodge owner

Brandon Ah id love to do that too but when i bought my 2016 RT super track pak i got a hell of a deal for it ($36K AFTER taxes w/ 20 miles on it) all the scat packs were going for $42k listing price., and of course if you buy new cars you basically get scammed cause i tried to trade it in 2 months after i got and dealership(s) were only trying to give me 26k for it and roll over 8k of negative equity on top of a new loan if i got a scat pack. I find 5.0 premiums for 28-30k with low miles so that may be my next route...idk yet i love challengers more

The T/A package sounds like a great value. Unfortunately, I was told by my local dealer that getting a base or near base T/A is a Unicorn hunt. A 392 T/A will show up north of $50K. There goes your "real value" Tim. This is why the car buying process sucks. If the Dealer isn't screwing you, the manufacturer is manipulating the supply.

Pr0ject 300 I hope it doesn't go away because that's the one I really want, the 392 shaker, I hate the SRT hood. Maybe I'd consider the T/A if there is a removal option for the SRT hood and the matte black top. The T/A car is 500 lbs heavier than the 1970 version plus the hood scoop is unnecessary thus rendering it a functional cosmetic addition. Exiting side exhausts could of been added but i suspect that would of been too retro.
