Inhibitors are useless in the L Cluster. The way they work is that if you enter a system with an inhibitor you can only go back the same way you came but the L Cluster's gate considers all L Gates as the same so anyone can jump into the L Gate then jump back the way they came to any other gate. I usually just put a fleet right by the gate so as soon as they jump into the L Cluster they are engaged. I think maybe the Ion Cannon would also work since it should be able to attack anything in the system.

I'd argue in favour of restoring tomb worlds and other similar planets. I imagine they'd want to preserve naturally generated worlds since they'd view them as divine creations. Yet those that have been tainted by irresponsible xenos should be restored.

HI! Great video again! If you choose Eater of worlds, there is a chance the a planet becomes a Shrouded World, which is maybe the most wicked thing possible for this empire :D + If you select a ship and right click on the L-Gate at Terminal Egress, you will see the list of all the systems with L-Gates + the ship can travel there, if you choose one. + The nanite worlds are only terraformable, if the Gray Tempest happened after opening the L-Gates.

I think you could see the Gaia World issue as this: The divines are the planets, not the ecosystem on them. It is by thier allowance life dwells on it, but if they chose to be fertile, they should be aided in their efforts by the Protector (you could also say that psionics commune with planet's consciousness to ask its desires and just lie to people to continue expansion of their empire, adding a corrupt element to the zealous nature of the Empire)

Pro tip: The only way to stop enemy forces from using the L-gate network is to have a fleet set to aggressive stance parked at least almost on top of the L-gate in the cluster. Anything less and the L-gates are an ocean that everyone can use.

I always put an Ion Cannon in Terminal Egress to stop enemies hopping around my empire using it. By the time I personally go to war with other empires I have at least two defensive fleets in there too. I held terminal egress against Contingency for a good few decades.

Me thinks the 'eater of worlds' could be the god of your relic world. you know, the god of war. and he wants his worshippers to sacrifice themselves. a sacrifice to protect the pantheon of gods in your galaxy against the endgame crisis and other desecrators. what are some unworthy lives compared to the safety of the divine? And on the same note. why don't you name your relic worlds 'The Covenant' and 'Sacrifice'? I think that would fit with 'Redemption' Love the series. You always do a great job balancing role play and good game decisions.

You could reason that the name of the covenant is a translation error. The exulted can be excused for that too, since it's not like it's an easy task to commune with your gods - there is a 1000 energy cost for a reason. A mistranslation here and there can be expected.

I think that you should call the two relic worlds Phobos and Deimos, meaning fear and panic, as they were the twin sons of Ares and Aphrodite, God of war, and God of love. It fits really well. Ares as they enable your battle fleets and weapons, Aphrodite as you love and care and protect all planets.

I can imagine the Worm was not properly scaled to the new economy. Pre-2.2 getting a big enough fleet to deal with it could actually be a bit of a challenge. i know im late to it. but yeah the l-gates and gateways are not affected by the interdictor. what i do is basically put an aggressive sacrificial fleet on top of the gate so that they are forced to enter combat in the system and engage the station. (or just make sure to have a resonable fleet in the system at all times to defend and controll.) also i put a gateway right on top of the l-gate so that all l-gates are gateways for me.

Take the Eater of Worlds covenant. The name is, first of all, a 40k reference to a Chaos Marine Warband that follows Khorne. Secondly, the "Eater of Worlds" doesn't mean it can eat entire planets, but is referencing the fact that it can eat entire planetary populations. The pact will make your armies unstoppable and your fleets powerful, making your people a true weapon of the Divines. Furthermore, Chosen Ones are not actually immortal. If you have a general or admiral chosen one they can still die in combat for some dumbass reason. Generals are the most vulnerable to this.

That covenant is troublesome. If the entities in the shroud are the planets, and your species are children of said planets, a mother wanting to devour it's children is... not good. I could see that being interpreted that a world somewhere is sick and desperate, or alternatively it's the Worm trying to pose as a divine and get started on revenge - the Worm's defeat wasn't long ago and would be very fresh on the mind. Practically speaking though lithoids don't have the best reproduction rate and loss of population is going to noticably hurt you in the long run.

The name is unfortunate on the first thought, but since the "Eater of Worlds" does not actually eat worlds, I'd understand it more as the "Eater", sent by the divine entities that are "Worlds". Although this species has been doing it's best to live in harmony, it has still always been eating bits of the worlds. Now the worlds start to eat some of "us", and so the circle closes.
