I don't care what the accuracy ratings on the weapons are, how do those gunners miss a target that size? It should have a negative evasion value enough to negate any miss, it's a good-sized stellar body.

I agree with that. Even with the highly probable fear that the crewmen are feeling as one of their Capital ships is going down, the ship`s systems should be very accurate.

"atmosphere" XD There is air - but explosion will not come (depressurization). But if there is hole in the corpus explosion will not be - for flame you need air. Basicly if look from the space side - there will not be explosion. But about explosions inside nobody cares XD Air will be sucked out because of vacum in miliseconds - Ship will burn from inside only if there will be air and will not be depressurization. :) But seriusly - I think they will not use air on ships but special gas :)

The Scourge looked so threatening to me with their 120K+ armada, while my little collective only had 40K. Destroyed them in a year. I doubt that dragon and FEs Titans will be destroyed as easily.

Well in my game with largest galaxy etc.. The scourge came. Do not remember the date. My fleet is 80k. The scourge came and I traded active sensonrlink with the empire who happened to be in their way. I counted the scourge forces to be at 350k in strenght.. D:

How do you "lure" a fleet, because once you are in combat you cant kite an enemy towards a target?

Muck006 No not in combat! Sometimes (Depending on the enemy's capabilities) they follow whatever ship you have to destroy it as long as they have it on their radar.

i lost half my war fleet because the computer plotted the shortest path for my brand new battle ships to reach the front lines and the rest of my ships was a leviathan system. almost cost me the war.

Enemy with size of a small planet. -Misses. But this should be treted as balance to lack of modular damage. And not to make rail guns too op at long rage. You would kill anything just after warping into star system.

The dev team really need to add the ability to ram and commandeer enemy ships, of course it would require some new stats like mass and durability (perhaps armor could play a role in this) as well as the ability to put trained combat squads on ship. Away team combat really needs to be a thing, armies need to serve a more flexible purpose.

I'd really enjoy being able to build some kind of titan ship as a megastructure in 'Utopia'. What about a ship that looks like a mix of an FE titan and my Empires' ship design with one superweapon slot that is 20 times stronger than the normal one? Probably with some kind of spaceport/ Yard technology required to be researched beforehandedly... I'd be willing to pay an extra 5 Euros on the Utopia DLC to build my own 10k fleet power titans (~*.*)~

If you have the Apocalypse DLC you gain access to both Titan class ships, as well as the Colossus. The Colossus ship class is quite literally a "planet killer", with varying effects depending on the weapon you equip to the Colossus (a Colossus has only 1 weapon slot, but it has enough power to devastate an entire planet once the weapon has had enough time to charge, so this actually necessitates providing the Colossus with some form of defense if you're using it on a world belonging to an enemy Empire, ether by keeping a fleet in the system to defend the Colossus or by blocking all routes the enemy could take into that system with a fleet). The 'basic' weapon allows the Colossus to 'crack' a planet, by basically forcing the planet's core to literally detonate, which turns said planet into an uninhabitable "Shattered World". The Global Pacifier instead creates a permanent and impenetrable energy shield around the targeted planet and turns it into a literal 'Shielded World' (this also results in that planet then producing 10 Society Research once a Research Station is built above it). The Neutron Sweeper basically eradicates all organic life on the planet but leaves the planet itself intact. Machine Intelligence Empires that have the Civic "Driven Assimilator" can also gain the "Assimilation Beam" for a Colossus, which as the name implies, allows them to assimilate the population of an entire planet and turn them into mindless cyborgs under the direct control of your Machine Intelligence (thus, they become *your* pops and you gain immediate control of the planet, even if you're currently at war with the Empire the Pops/Planet originally belonged to). The Planet Cracker weapon can actually be 'test fired' on uninhabitable worlds, like Frozen, Barren, Toxic, and Molten Worlds. But the other 3 weapons cannot be test fired, at least not as far as I am aware. Something to note about the Global Pacifier is that you can actually use it on worlds that have Primitive Civilizations on them. So if you're concerned that a given Primitive Civilization may pose a threat or problem to your Empire if they progress to the era of Galactic travel, you can actually turn their world into a Shielded World to ensure that they never *do* become a problem (I also think that turning a planet into a Shielded World like that doesn't result in any diplomatic maluses like with creating a Shattered or Assimilated World or eradicating the pops on a planet with the Neutraon Sweeper (each of which, I believe, count like a 'Genocide' malus), unless you turn a world owned by another Empire into a Shielded World.

I think my Doomsday mod is causing odd things to happen. for me and my friends the leviathans are nigh indestructible. We hit the Stellar devourer with 150k worth of stacks (300 equivalent in the base game) with probably half a dozen titans at least and everything got wiped out in seconds. Even turning invincibility on they couldn't break the thing's regeneration...

If the dragon has range zero weapons that do more damage than it's breath weapon, that would be a good reason. Then you'd want a dragon variant that also had a disabling type breath weapon, so ships couldn't flee. Short version - space monsters are weird, and may need weird tactics (or just more dakka).

I'm gonna be the stupid one that asks what those small crafts were that came from the titans. I checked and didn't see any hangars in the loadout, but it looked like fighters or other small craft. Anybody an idea? Otherwise it looked quite nice. And terrifying. I mean, the fleet power needed to take on that dragon is HUGE and the losses were catastrohic... A phyrrhic victory if there ever was one.

Variety in ships helps, Primarily using corvette swarms is the best way to kill some leviathans as most leviathans use large attacks that can one shot a battleship

Noooo the space fish died. Have not seen that one yet. I have found a few. Closes thing to the space fish that I have found is the Dimensional horror.. The worse I have come across is the Ancient Vault. Stupid thing. I went in and blow up it defenses and it just heals back up to full. Not giving you any options to do anything with it.

Probably bugged a bit. I discovered the Vault, then asked the Curators about it, then destroyed all of its defenses, and only then i got a quest to get inside. The rewards are insane. Like +600 deflector, +160 or 200 power, +6 evasion in A slot, +6 tracking in A slot, and armor(don't remember the value).

Not to forget the fire power makes the space dragon look like a tiny creature. Lol the upkeep on the flag ship is like -500 to both power and minerals. Meaning you have to take some fallen empires worlds to keep it out for more then a few month. No it not op. My little vassals are creating their own dreadnoughts as well. So it something the AI and other players can use as well if they have the tech. Just wish the awaken empire would do something in my game. Beside as for land. It pretty sadden when an awaken empire is scared of you. Lol.

Damminh Khoi Yes. Most made all games better. Why would you not play with mods? More feature and advance IA is aways a good thing. Now I hope the devs take some future DLC idea's from player mods.
