@TheChosenFailure2 ай бұрын
@@SippyDrandal I feel like most people are bandwagon fans and just stick around like a team was good when they first started watching the sport they are on screen often so they pick em, of course there are some that purposefully pick bad teams. Like imagine growing up and watching football (soccer) near the turn of the 2010s and you pick Man U cause they were on screen and bandwagon them, only for them to go without a title in 11 years, or bandwagoning the yankees during the 90s and 2000s only for them to go on a 14+ stinker (as in no rings). (You could technically make a case that becoming a fan of the team your family likes or even hometown/city likes, would be bandwagoning, as in hoping on the bandwagon.) I personally do not mind bandwagoning, unless you jumped on like I dunno detriot 03-04 and then they became horrid and you turncoat and support another (winning) team then I have a problem, if you just immediately jump ship when the team you are a supposed fan of becomes bad or mid then I have no respect.

It’s a gamble for every team every year. There is so much that can happen in a year that can either make a team more successful or less. It could be a weird mix with players, personal stuff off the court affecting a big player’s game, a player returning from injury but can’t play the way they used to, a player getting in the best shape of their life, a player getting more skilled in the offseason, a young player showing potential with more opportunity, a player finding the system that is perfect for their style of play, a coach trusting a player that wasn’t trusted by a previous coach or team, a new coach, new players, injuries, etc. It’s not easy to predict how one season will go with how many variables there are. One day all of a sudden a team can become the best team in the league without a typical type of roster. Both the Nuggets and Warriors didn’t have traditional championship rosters when they became as successful as they did. You’re talking about potential moves right now, but in a year we could be talking about the Warriors as contenders without other stars around him (like Jokic). It might be rare, but there is chaos in life. It’s more often things don’t go as planned than things go just as planned. I can’t tell you how many times the Bulls with Derrick Rose were talked about as title contenders only for them to fall off at the end due to some crazy injury - and not only from Rose. If you’re building a traditional contender, I do think the odds are better to be successful, but there isn’t just one way to build a team for success. It’s also a lot less costly to build a contender with superstars and risky for the team if the star leaves after you’ve given up a lot for them.
@farrdawgjoker70872 ай бұрын
Why is nobody talking about KD back to Golden State? He is far more affordable than Booker and if they could have enough assets left to get KD And Jeremy Grant they would be a legitimate title contender. That would allow Curry To stay In Golden State and ride off into the sunset as an elite team and possible championship team. Booker is young and the last one the Suns will move and it will take more than the Warriors have.

Draymond Green is a better player than Murray, MPJ, and Gordon. I hate when people say someone has no help because that’s not what they mean. They mean they don’t have help offensively. AI had a defensively structured roster in 2001 and people still say he had to carry that team. He had to carry his team offensively while his teammates carried him defensively. The Warriors went 46-36 last year and Draymond only played 55 games. They could have easily won 50+ games had he not gotten himself suspended. Another year of development for Kuminga, Podz, and Moody, while acquiring more spacing with Hield, a backup 4 in Kyle Anderson, and keeping GP2 could be just the supporting cast that the Warriors two franchise cornerstones need to surprise people this year.
