Hi Stephanie. I love an adore your work. I have a quick question. I have a fairly new (1-2 months) size 0 and 1 WN series 7. Do you think doing dry brush will ruin the tips? I have synthetic detail brushes but the problem with those is that they hold so little pigment that after I dab the brush there is hardly anything left. Also, what are you using to grey down your blues, if anything?

yah, it's not particularly gentle on the tips. I wouldn't use your nice brushes for it.

This all helps painting all kinds of underwater scenes ... how about fish scales? Specifically, getting the shadows and highlights, so hard without using another medium!

I switch around a lot, but currently been using a lot of Fluid Hot Press Watercolor paper
