Maybe because the recording came straight from the ingested signals of the actual instruments. All you have to do is balance the volume of each instrument and it sounds dope. Look for other live videos of this song and you will hear how the instruments really sound to the audience, huge difference. It doesn't take a 'sound engineer' to do that. Any idiot can adjust the different volumes to match.

16 years later and I still get goosebumps when I see this live performance! It doesn't get much tighter than this as a band, it's as if they automatically adjust to each other when the tempo slightly changes. Epic band chemistry and playing was on point! Mark slayed that guitar solo, you can hear and feel the atmosphere there and the air moving from the stage speakers through a good pair of headphones. Sound engineer deserves an award for this. This video reminds me of Pantera Domination video,there was many of people here too,heavy music I mean you can be metalhead but you cant dislike Lamb of God,we all have different taste in music but Lamb of God is something that stand on line between that

I love how at the end in the crowd two guys almost get into a fight but its immediately broken up and both guys chill out, big respect to them, go hard in the pit but nothing serious

Wow, I’ve been a Lamb of God fan for about 14 years, never listened to them live. Unbelievable performance, everything was so tight. Usually the singer and the solo would be wobbly in a live performance, but Randy and Mark both nailed it.

Take a bow Mark Morton, that solo was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Every time I find myself repeating that part over and over again when listening to this. The whole Download '07 performance by them sounds fucking epic, you can feel they were hyped and up for it!
