White nights. St.Petersburg is pretty far to the north, so it never gets completely dark during summer. If you go even further north you will find your self in places like Murmansk. They have polar day and polar night. So it is day for 2 months straight and night for about 1,5 :)

I was thinking the same thing :-) but you shouldn't underestimate yourself, I've been to Finland and I didn't know what to visit first. Suomenlinna, the Arabia factory, Helsingin Ooppera etc. etc. But it's perhaps all for the best that Stephen didn't go to Finland, who knows what he'd get wrong...
