I don’t know if there’s anything more wholesome than seeing that girl on her dad’s shoulders at Harris’s speech. We have come so far, to the point where we can now prove to little girls that they really can do anything, that their destinies are theirs to make, that she can do it if she tried. It’s a normal thing to think about achieving now, it doesn’t have to be a struggle of a milestone for her to overcome, she can be unapologetically herself and be appreciated for what she does instead of how she was born. Her dad is right there holding her up too, because he knows how important this is for her to see, because h believes she deserves to be able to take the freedom of her life into her own hands and know that it’s possible, and not just a fantasy.

But unfortunately Trump's win has set back social progress by about a decade. & I don't think Bernie is going to live long enough to see it.
