And your logic is a fallacy, anything that threatens world peace is definitely a concern for America - war is a costly thing, after all, and our treaties and agreements would require us to get involved - and if we pulled out of them no one would ever be willing to trust our country's word again. Moreover, The Electoral College was literally created to prevent 'uneducated' ordinary non-landowners from having too much power over who gets elected. Freedom of Speech is not freedom from consequences that naturally arise when we say hateful things with no basis, no one is trying to keep people from following whatever religion it is they want, Democrats are the ones asking for the thorough investigations, which is part of due process, and 'innocent until proven guilty' has always applied only in the courtroom, it was never intended to prevent outside observers from forming their own opinions until the trial was over - also, if you're referring to the Kavanaugh allegations, sexual assault is notoriously difficult to actually prove happened without video evidence for many, many reasons that I won't go into right here - regardless of whether or the allegations are true. As for the assault on the Right to bear Arms, it is true that most democrats want tighter control on guns. But one must keep in mind that the Constitution was written back when single-shot rifles that took minutes to reload were the best guns around, and today we have military-grade automatic assault rifles that citizens have relatively little trouble acquiring or creating a fascimile of. No one is saying that we should keep responsible, level-headed citizens from having pistols for self defense. We're just saying that mentally unstable high schoolers should not be able to get the tools to gun down their classmates. We're saying that maybe, just maybe, citizens don't need military grade guns, in the same way that we don't need or want privately owned nukes or mustard gas. It's just a little excessive, I think. And I know what you're thinking, so let me just say here that the Slippery Slope argument is a logical fallacy, at least according to my high school psychology textbook. And no, it's not that you're unenlightened, it's not that you're deplorable, it's not even that Trump-supporters are stupid, it's that you have been fed misinformation and you believe it. It's that the way the internet and search engines are set up make it unlikely for you to encounter news stories and arguments that you don't already agree with, unless you go out of your way to search for them. If a mugger is stopped by the police on a sidewalk right as they're about do assault a bodega, they'll be charged with attempted robbery. For example, if you're attacked with a knife and it just so happens you're wearing a vest and the knife doesn't go through, you were still attacked an can press assault or even attempted murder charges. The only reason not to call this an attack, but an attempted attack, is to downplay the significance. Which will blow up in their face when they switch their gears to claim it's a false flag.
