Dave’s main problem is lack of belief in himself because he is absolutely brilliant on his day. I don’t think he realises how good he actually is
@nmunirk4 ай бұрын
he doesn't lack it, it's the belief which made him come to Crucible while being a full time farmer :D but I get you point to some extend, that how good he is, he must be on a better place in rankings...

The stuff about different tables especially indirectly talking about humidity makes me think he could probably do with having a deeper look at the physics and stuff behind how the balls react. I feel he’s a complete natural talent that could be enhanced with a look at how to adjust his game to the situation. They touched on it briefly but I reckon that’s what Ronnie did. Had all the feel and instinct but was tempered by Reardon especially. It’s why Ronnie is so lethal imo.
@DM-kv9kj4 ай бұрын
@@NathanJayDog What are you on about mate? Studying physics will not help anyone's snooker improve and Ronnie has not studied physics to improve his game, he's just practiced a ridiculous amount since he was a little kid and honed his consistency in cue delivery and aiming and so on, which in turn helps improve your ability to adapt to different conditions by proxy. Snooker's a game of pure feel and consistent repetition. Studying mathematical physics of how snooker balls react will do absolutely nothing whatsoever to improve your play. It's always going to be different and you have to play the table and conditions provided at any given match. You have to just adapt to how any table is playing on any given day through feel and experience, not studying physics.

"Revealed in a damning consumer investigation by the BBC, the brand HelloFresh was found to have been incorrectly charging customers who had deactivated their accounts, before going on to threaten them with third-party debt collectors if they went through their banks to cancel the incorrect direct debits." No business is ethical. Ethical businesses is a scam. They all pretend they're all so "ethical", yet to be a high-profit business, especially these days, you necessarily have to be unethical. Just because they claim they're ethical doesn't make it so, it's all marketing now. Stop just believing everything companies tell you.

Dave’s a warrior, don’t let his relaxed demeanour or what he says about lacking self belief fool you. Needing to not only win his last frame against Xu Si but also beat his 131 to top the group in the Championship League (and do it) is proof enough of his fight and class. I only really watch Dave and Ronnie these days.

Wild how Federer's career spanned so many different generations and he had to change his playstyle and adapt to others so much over the course of it. Started off as a serve-and-volleyer, pioneered an all-court all-surface game, and ended his career with S&V dead, and tennis played mostly through long baseline rallies with heavy topspin. Not to mention how the surfaces changed as well. He did it all. Just like Ronnie O'Sullivan has done in snooker The GOAT 🐐👍
