Stephen, remember how passionate you were about the collapsible green screen you bought several months back - so passionate that you devoted a whole vlog post (a longer one, in fact) to it? That's how passionate Mal is here. Adding my two cents here since you seemed a little confused during the vlog.

Yeah and its actually applicable to us as well, i think it would be cool to have for my Switch attaching it to my head board of my bed so i can play in bed like how Mal said. Being able to use the pro controller without having to hold the switch in bed would be nice.

I use an iPad for sheet music all the time... this would be extremely helpful. Thanks for the tip!
@insaneintherainmusic5 жыл бұрын
@Oliver Tomlinson If you print a lot of music for yourself, a tablet is super nice. It's an easy workflow when people send you PDF's, just slap em on the tablet! (Not literally lol)
@relsre5 жыл бұрын
@@insaneintherainmusic do you have a particular app you use for annotations/marking on sheet music? I do that a lot when learning pieces. Also, is it easy to see sheet music on a tablet when playing? Seems like it would be awkward sometimes, since most tablets are a bit smaller than Letter/A4.

My can't live without accessories are my Bluetooth headset, my external battery (to keep my phone charged, and to have someone to recharge without having to be tethered to an outlet) and recently, my phone popstock (very useful for recording for my vlog without getting fingers in the way of either lens)

Heck, this looks like it'd be REALLY useful! I'm an artist who has wrist and back problems, and having something that meant I didn't need to constantly hunch over to use devices would be fantastic! I'll have to look in to this~! Thank you for the heads-up, Mal!!!

Accessory I can't live without? Art glove. I use my iPad to draw rather than for references, and it keeps the screen from getting grubby. But for a Switch, that sounds handy! By the way, here's the link to the UK Amazon if it helps any internationals out there! smile.amazon.co.uk/Tryone-Gooseneck-Nintendo-Samsung-Overall/dp/B01EMMKI4O/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1541502347&sr=8-3&keywords=tablet+mount+holder

Question for Mal! Is that a regular iPad? Or the first iPad Pro? I’m looking into getting an iPad for creative projects, so I wanted to see how it works for you, even if it’s a reference point during painting
@MalMakes5 жыл бұрын
blackfox51 it’s a regular one but it supports the apple pencil which was something I wanted
@relsre5 жыл бұрын
That's pretty neat way to use a tablet clamp! Honestly, I'd like to get something similar for my phone, so I can read better in bed. (...well, I sleep late already, so that might not be such a good thing :P ) _What's one accessory for your iPad/Switch/gadget that you can't live without?_ ...wouldn't go as far as to say I can't live without it, but I've been using a Samsung microSD card reader for a while -- the catch is that it looks like a small USB drive, and has _both_ USB and micro-USB out, so I can use it on my phone and on PCs, it's very handy for someone who works with tech on-the-go a lot! I carry it around in my wallet, along with a small ziplock bag of extra microSDs that I use for different scenarios (work/personal stuff/etc.). I wish I could find a product page but I forgot the model. It came with a Samsung 32GB SDXC microSD (U1 speed), and looks almost like the Samsung MUF-32CB/AM (imagine it with a silver cover instead of black).
@TheLetsPlayBaseballCurse5 жыл бұрын
That may be really useful for me too. I sleep on the lower bunk in my dorm room, and the TV angles upward, making it harder to see. Making it hands-free would be great.
@Spiritet935 жыл бұрын
I am all but sure I can't live without my phone stand. I have a portable phone stand where I can use my phone without holding it, and the angle is adjustable, too! But it blocks the charger hole, so whenever I need to charge my phone, I can use my non-adjustable phone stand, where the holder has a hole in the middle where I could charge. Problem is, whenever I need to use it, it's slanted to the point I need to elevate the phone stand so it would sit up straight, but it bring forth the risk of having my phone fall to the floor. I searched for MONTHS, and found out just a month ago that a Nintendo Switch stand is perfect for my phone! It's adjustable, and it has a hole on the stand where you can have your phone plugged to the charger. What made it better is the fact the Nintendo Switch adjustable stand it Breath of the Wild themed

I have the same gadget except in white (same brand and everything). I can definitely recommend it; I’ve used it for both an iPad and an iPhone X. I intended to use it with my Switch too but haven’t tried that yet. It’s really sturdy and I haven’t had any problems with it.
