The same thing used to happen to me so sometimes it helps to use a smaller brush cause it tends to curl the hair better on coarse hair and I would avoid using those wooden blowout brushes with the dots n the ends cause those are really easy to get your hair stuck in the ceramic ones with nylon bristles are best cause when the brush heats up while you bow dry your hair will eventually change me out by itself

Gorgeous!! I stopped using my flat iron more than a year ago and do this technique. I get so many compliments and my hair is incredibly soft with big curls at the end. Day 3 (my hair is dry and thick!) I put in a pony tail and it looks gorgeous the way the curl at the ends hang. It takes me about 45min to an hour from start to finish. Add some dry shampoo to your roots day 2-3 if your hair is like mine and your good for the work week!

How do people use round brushes without them getting stuck in their hair?!!?
@jktm77853 жыл бұрын
they are of higher quality and they don't get stuck, they are very gentle
@lucia19823 жыл бұрын
Use smaller sections cause that will help and also dont start wrapping that hair super high or close to your roots and dont change the angle of the brush
@mississa-b3 жыл бұрын
Practice, practice, practice. Start with a brush that's large and has sparse bristles. Don't wrap the hair all the way around the brush, but only use 1/4 to 1/2 of the brush. Use just a slight twist of the wrist. Also, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep the dryer moving with a slight "back and forth" movement along the brush. If you hold it so it's focused on one spot, you will burn and damage your hair or your scalp. I've been blow drying my hair with round brushes since 1975.

Thank you so much for this! This was the first blow dry tutorial I've actually been able to follow! Quick question, how do you keep the blow out over night?

How do you make sure your highlights don’t look orange? I have really dark brown hair and got a balayage, but I feel like it turned out orange. The blue shampoo isn’t doing but so much.

Did you go to a salon or try it at home? I had virgin dark brown hair and I wanted highlights like hers, so I went to a salon and it looks orange 🤪 but I got a refund and had a different stylist touch it up and make it better

Sometimes with really dark hair it might take a couple sessions to lift most of the orange/brassy color out. Blue and purple shampoos/conditioners also come in different levels of pigment so you might just need something a little more color-depositing to keep it ashier. As a natural brunette, you will want to use blue instead of purple so you're definitely on the right track there! You just need to alternate it with your regular (sulfate-free) shampoo to maintain it. Sometimes it just takes a little patience to get those sessions in before you reach the exact tone you want. I'd also recommend getting a toner/gloss in addition to the balayage foils. Talk to your stylist about that and let them know how you feel! Communication is super important, both during the consultation and afterwards to find the right products for you. Let them know what you're using now and how it is or isn't working. I promise they'll have some ideas on how to help!

I use to round brush dry my hair years ago and I loved it. However, I've either had short hair or was bald for the better part of 10 years. Now that my hair is growing out again, this has helped me a lot.

I would need to do like 6 to 8 sections. Having 4c hair that is really really thick makes blow drying a hassle when I do decide to blow dry it. I can definitely use that brush. This is a very good and informative video. I can say that this was a very good blowout tutorial. I learned a lot from watching this. I need to get another little flat iron as well. They work very well.

How can I describe this cut to my hairstylist?!?! I’m going next month and this is the exact cut I need for my length !! Beautiful style, cut and color !

Lan Nguyen Thi Ngoc it was so helpful. I showed her video to my hair stylist and she gave me the cut. Dark brown with caramel balayage. She called in layers that frame the face with long layers so my hair will have movement when I blow dry it. Such great inspiration!

I Am Happy And I Deserve It you need to face the dryer down the way in the direction your hair grows I make that mistake aswell until I seen a tutorial if it’s still frizzy use a serum x
@anaitvartanyan2934 жыл бұрын
Mines the same, you should cold shot it afterwards, so once you finish blow drying a section just switch to the cold setting on your hairdryer and go back over the section you’ve finished with the cold !

I finally decided to learn how to blow dry my hair, & let me tell you omg it turned out AMAZING❤️😭😭 I have layers & it just looks so good & the process was so easy especially compared to when I used to use a regular brush & blow dried it without knowing what I was doing, it would take forever & I didn’t like the outcome too much, sectioning does wonders & so does the tips from this video❤️😭 thank u so much
