Crown Me Queen In my opinion, a wedding can only be really ‘yours’ if you’re paying for it completely by yourself. And even then it’s questionable (other cultures see wedding as joining two *families* together so it’s definitely never all about the bride). nurse956 My dude, shopping alone doesn't mean you don't care for your loved ones. Take this girl (in the video) for example. Her mother really didn't want her to show an aspect of her that SHE felt comfortable showing. For other people, that kinda stuff can be really pressuring and they could end up with something everyone else likes, but something that they're not comfortable with or don't feel good in. Shopping alone just means you don't wanna be pressured by other people. When you have a wedding, it's YOUR day and you should feel good on your day. Other's opinions on your dress don't matter if you like it. If they don't like it then so be it. If I am EVER to have a wedding, I would only bring people that I know would support my decisions.
@nurse9566 жыл бұрын
well i agree with u but then it is ur decision that u want only thoes who can only support u whether ur dress is looking good or not. Atleast i wouldnt do that as i want to know why my dress isnt looking nice and what would be great for me. So everyone has thier own choice while talking about these people so ofcourse these brides knows what is best for them and for many girls famiy matters so i wouldnt put my family dissapointed because it is only my dress, my wedding and etc as i want them to be happy because they have been thier for me supporting me, cares for me and they wouldnt support me what isnt best for me as my mom and sisters and my friend (1 friend) is everything for me and i now best that they knows best. so everyone has gotta choice but my mom, dad and sisters happiness means alot for me as i know they are more happier than me.
@_starry_narwhal_25016 жыл бұрын
nurse956 I 100% understand what you mean and support your decision. Some people like other people's intake on certain things. But remember that your wedding is YOUR day. I'm not saying to completely cancel out other people's opinions, but don't forget to think about yourself and what makes you happy too. When I say that I wanna bring people that support my decisions (If I ever were to have a big wedding ceremony that is, and check that's even IF I ever get married. I might get married without some big fancy ceremony. I dunno. ^^), I mean that after I *truly* know I want a dress, and it makes me feel good, I don't want other people making me self-conscious about my decision. But if I were to bring people I love along, I would want to consider their opinions because they may end up showing me that a dress I pick out isn't REALLY the dress I want.

YES! I would also never take her out with me to shop for my dress or anything else (judging by her strong attitude about what she doesn't like!). The fact that she find them disgusting that the bride had to cover them always around her is not normal. It is not easy for someone to be themselves when someone demand them to be something else. v-v I am not happy with this relationship dynamic and I hate that someone will tell someone frequently how they see tattoos with no regards to the person's feelings. It is not like she just seen them, they were there and they might increased in number, so she knows that the young lady does enjoy her tattoos. I have a mother that controlling and I cut her out of my life. Such behaviour doesn't stop and people who have it don't usually care for your emotions or what pleases you. I want to tell her to shut her talking hole and try to be considerate! I am ashamed she is behaving so inappropriately.

Agreed! The second dress did compliment the style of the tattoo. The step mom obviously decided Well beforehand that she would not be satisfied unless the tattoo appeared non existent, and the third dress with the veil placed on top did just that. The stylist should have taken the mum aside while the bride was changing to artfully remind her the importance of making a bride happy and letting her have what is important to her.

I don’t agree with tattoos, but it’s apart of her, she’s proud of them. This would be a different story if the mom was paying for it. For me I am just bothered the tattoo isn’t centered! But not my body.

Ray Senpai I'm sorry, I just had to address this. That was such an appropriate way to state your opinion, and It's refreshing to see that on the Internet. I hope you have a good day today.

Hopefully she had different makeup for her wedding. That half face line is horrible.

Anamaria L “Horrible” is a very harsh word to use on another woman’s appearance. 😡

@@user-hx7mi7ml8u I agree. We should support one another, us women, rather that put one another down. But whoever did her makeup did a horrible job. I never said she or her appearence are horrible. Please don't try and pick up a fight on youtube.

Here's the thing. It's your wedding. Do it where you want, when you want and with whoever you want. Wear what you want, eat what you want and dance to whatever songs you want. Nobody has to do 'tradition' or what's expected by certain people. Have the day you want

"The tattoos to me don't say delicate, feminine bride." I'm damn near speechless. What an unkind, heartless thing to say.
@coolcatz41593 жыл бұрын
its really not a heartless thing to say. i mean first of the bride could really put some contour and cover it and second tattoos don't really fit well especially if your a bride. It doesn't look right for me personally. She can have tattoos and all but for the wedding its best if she covered it.

@@coolcatz4159 People get tattoos because it’s what they like and it is an expression of themselves. Telling a tattooed person that they have to hide their tattoos is the same as telling them to hide who they truly are, that they are not acceptable as they are. It doesn’t matter if the stepmom or anyone else doesn’t like it. It’s not their wedding and it’s not their day. My grandma used to say if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all. Sometimes we just need to keep our mouth shut.

@@laverndowsley8850 ok.....but you do know, that there are people who hide their tattoos like for example if they are at like a family gathering, they make that decision to cover it. This is her 'WEDDING DAY' its a big day which almost always only happens once in your lifetime. If she has kids one day, how would it be that they had to see all them tattoos. Its not right. I told you people can have tattoos if they wish its no big deal. But for a day like this it wouldn't kill her to make an acception. This is not the first time this has happened. There are a lot of other brides that come in with far more tatts than Hazelle. Like full arms and sometimes neck. Most of the times the family like Hazelle's mom tells them to cover it up. For example, kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGbPZ4yDgdxjqpY this is one of many instances. Its ok to conceal it. They can remove it after. No big deal.

@@coolcatz4159 I think we have an agree to disagree situation. There is a huge difference between someone deciding that they want to hide their tattoos and someone telling them that they should and that it’s unattractive if they don’t. I’m getting the impression that you may be someone who finds visible tattoos on a woman unattractive. I cannot think of the words required to help you understand that if someone chose to have their tattoo showing there would be no regret. And the children wouldn’t mind because they have unconditional love and acceptance and they don’t know any different. They would be used to seeing mom’s tattoos. I learned a valuable lesson when I was shopping with my daughter for a graduation dress. I was seeing so many beautiful, feminine dresses that I was excited for her to try on but she wasn’t interested in any of them. I came to realize that just wasn’t her style. She chose a long gray sequined dress that I never would’ve selected. She ended up looking amazing in the dress. And I learned but not every girl is interested in princess froufrou.

@@laverndowsley8850 Do you honestly think that they look pretty decent with tatts on them when wearing a beautiful dress? I mean come on. I get what your saying and yes every one is entitled to their own opinion. But still it just doesn't look all that amazing. Btw not all tattoos on women look bad. For example if they have something written on their wrist its not bad. Women can have tattoos all they want but they should be smart on their wedding day to conceal it. Do you notice that only some women ever show their tattoos than other women on their wedding day. Ive seen so many brides on SYTTD in the Lori store. Aka bridals by lori. Almost all of the women in that show don't show up with tattoos.
