Who are we?
We are Adam (North American) and Bernardo (Brazilian) and we are husbands whose paths crossed back in 2016, when we both still lived in Brazil. Since the very beginning, we shared a common passion for travel and nature, which has only grown over the years and led us to this unexpected journey on KZbin, which has allowed us to connect with an amazing community that we’re beyond grateful for. “Go out and make memories” is our motto of living and a constant reminder for us that true happiness doesn’t come from the material wealth we accumulate, but from the memories we create and share with our loved ones throughout our existence. I am one of your oldest followers...in more ways than one! Having a dream, and actively taking steps toward it, no matter how small, gives purpose to one's life. I have been talking about my own dream - a small Cafe, as my retirement business - for the past five years...AND saving every dollar I could to reach that goal. In the fourth quarter of 2024 I'll have reached my (savings) goal. If the economy does not crash and the banks do not close, I will have my Cafe. If they do...I'll have good memories of the efforts I put in! Wishing you the same 'success'!

I’m building my offgrid tiny home in rural Aotearoa New Zealand this year too. Filled with art and a family of cormorants in my trees, docile cows and crotchety turkeys in the paddocks. Outdoor hot shower, my kitchen is a wood fire pizza oven and barbecue. (Halfthruth: I do have a LPG oven and cooktop too). Sadly it’s a single retirement dream but we can’t all have the beautiful love you both share. At 69 this is enough. And books. Art, food books animals and an overarching sky of perpetual wonderment. Wishing you both well in your dreams for 2023 (and keep the hair Adam! Flaunt it while you have it).
