I made a simple king pin puller with b7 allthread and 2- 2" thick steel blocks. Looks similar to the OTC tool. B7 alltread, 5/8" diameter has something like 30K lbs tensile strength. Used with a short porta power press, it works great. Didn't cost much to make. The 2" steel blocks were in a scrap bin, at the local steel supply yard.
