I always thought a Cap-Widow-Hawkeye triangle was a huge missed opportunity in the MCU, but that would have played against the, "man out of time pining for his lost love Agent Carter," angle they went with for Cap and the, "secret family man that still has deep feelings for Nat," angle they used for Hawkeye, which were pretty good angles in their own right.

I’m surprised you didn’t show the scene when Nat is telling Steve about when she got shot and shows him where it was and says *”Bye-bye bikinis.”* And Steve responds *”Yeah, I bet you’d look terrible in them now.”* Or when Steve is talking to Bruce about how Nat is really comfortable around him and Bruce says *No, Nat just likes to flirt.”* And Steve responds *”I’ve seen her flirt, up close, this ain’t that.”*
