ForbertFan: Saw Steve the first time at Heatrbreakers in Madison Wisconsin around 1979. Great show. Extremely underrated and unbder appreciated. Always listen when I'm feeling a bit low, which is quite often these days. Even at 63 years it still makes me feel like I'm in my twenties! Long Live Steve Forbert!

I’ve just come across this site and it’s wonderful I last saw Steve about 15 years ago, in a solo concert, still wonderful. Just had myself a little singalong. Thanks a Million.

What a great walk down memory lane! Saw him with my then new girlfriend here in San Antonio at Leon Springs back about the 90s time frame. Great solo show outside on the porch where it was a little too cool/cold. Had to snuggle up with the new one. Must have worked. Married her in the mid 90s and still rocking with Steve all these years later. Even our semi grown boys like him. Proof that great music transcends generations.

Someone had plans for him since he's fronting this rockin' band. I wish things had taken off for Orbit but it didn't deter him when that didn't happen. He had the success of Romeo's Tune which wouldn't hit the Top Ten for months after this show. Unfortunately the third album stalled and he would not become a Pop Star. Regardless, he's touring in 2017.
